APOEL will most likely face Israeli club Hapoel Beer-Shiva in the next round of the Europa League qualifiers:

"Problem with Reza in APOEL in the face of Hapoel

Michael is a past from APOEL and the yellow-yellow players go to the games with Hapoel with a single attacker on Delatoire as there is a problem with Reza Ghoochannejhad's new acquisition."

With his international retirement what will they do, ban him from the international team if he ever returns. I hope he plays, stupid things old fashioned rule.

You cant go to a team and right off the bat do things like this. Hes a pro im sure he plays.

Hopefully they get a good team in Europa league group stages.

he'll probably play the home match in CYP, and skip the away match due to "illness"/"family"/"personal reasons". Would be a the best bet anyway, since Israel/IDF will give him hell when he tries to come into Israel, and probably just refuse him anyway

Israel will not refuse him entry, on the other hand they will welcome him, it is the after effect of playing in Israel from iran that will be the issue for him.

hmmm, not so sure about the welcoming part...He'll be kept in customs all day for "security" reasons while the rest of the team is off to the hotel/training. Just try traveling to Israel with an Iranian/Muslim name (no matter what passport you hold)...you'll see just how "welcoming" they are!
