But IFF hasn’t done jack sh*t yet 😡😡😡
Wasn’t this one of CQ’s main requests to be fufiled to remain Iran’s coach ?

I think we should focus our friendlies on Asian cup for now.

Yes we have some rifts with plenty of Arab teams but I would be satisfied if we prepared for our group. I would love to play big name teams obviously but realistically they wont within a 6month period for now.

Something like this should prepare our team for the group/later phases of the Asian cup.

Morr than enough to prep us for the tournament. If we reach the semis, the difference between 4th place and winning the whole thing will be if our boys are awake on the day of the game

So what can Team Melli plan is to play North Korea, possibly look for any free dates for Oman, Syria, Palestine and Kuwait. Hope for 2018 CAFA Championship not to get postponed or canceled so at least play versus Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan. Also teams that have not made it to Asia Cup or did not enter qualification are mostly available likes of Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Macau, Mongolia, Brunei, etc

Alternatively if able to manage financial issues then book friendly with Europeans not competing in UEFA Nations League.

It really shouldn't be that hard to get a team like El Salvador, Armenia,or Bolivia to play a friendly against us. Good practice and cheap.

We already had two games against Giants in the world cup which forced us to focus on defense, so I think it's best to play Asian-level competition so the boys can practice attacking a bit more.
