I think CR7 is classy with Daei but he just responds to very kinds words from Daei.
We can criticize iranians for a lot of things but they also know to find words and be hyper classy first.

Almost every commentator I heard congratulating Ronaldo did not mention Iran or Ali Daei once. So nice that the player himself, alluded to Ali Daei multiple times on route to tie and break the record. He gave Iran more respect than anyone else, well done CR7.

If count 'weak opponents' compared to their own team then Ronaldo has 36, 37 and Daei 39.. so then they're quite comparable.
