Sadegh confirmed he got an offer from Dinamo Zagreb in May 20 Instagram post. He says he is glad to be associated with Persepolis players like Daei, Mahdavikia, Bagheri etc. who wore the Persepolis shirt and also played in Europe. He does not compare himself to them but honours their legacy. He had an official offer from Dinamo mid-season but stayed with Persepolis to help them with the PGL title and Asian Champions League. He says goodbye to Persepolis fans.

what a great move IF he makes it to the starting xi. If he does that, with his age and talent, he will likely get a major to a top league /club within the next 2 years. If not, he could be another Ali Karimi (Sepahan). I think he will make it though. the kid is insanely talented and should be our starting Right back for this WC, but I think he will certainly take that spot for the next wc.

What a good day for Iranian football. Before today we had 0 CB players in Europe. After today, we MAY have 2 going into respectable European teams.

I think WC 2022 will be the real golden generation of Iranian football. That’s when most of those players that impressed in that U-17 WC team will be playing in Europe.

          Fun Fact:

Sadegh Moharrami was a teammate of Majid Hosseini, Ali Gholizadeh and Saeid Ezatolahi in their U-16/U-17 days.

I can’t stress enough that 2 generations are IMPERATIVE to Team Melli’s success.

          1) The generation of Alireza Jahanbakhsh, Sardar Azmoun, Roozbeh Cheshmi, Farshid Esmaeili, Ahmad Abdollahzadeh, Ehsan Pahlevan, Hossein Fazeli, Behnam Barzay..

          2) The generation of Saeid Ezatolahi, Majid Hosseini, Ali Gholizadeh, Sadegh Moharrami, Mehdi Amini, Iman Salimi (who is with Portuguese club Braga)..

If Carlos Queiroz will remain our head coach until AC 2019, mark my words that if some of these names are not currently in Team Melli they will for sure be invited if they perform decent in League Bartar. Because Carlos and his staff have proven to have a close eye on their stars (Jahanbakhsh, Azmoun, Ezatolahi..) teammates from their youth days.

Totally agree. Quieroz knew well from his Portugal U20 golden generation days that bringing through players from the youth set up is key for development of style, tactics, cohesion and squad harmony.

If he could give us 4 more years, his project will be complete

Not joined the team yet. And they have 2 very good right backs: Matel from Romanian international. Been a reserve at right side.
But - their main right back Stajonovic (22 years old) a Slovanian international is nr 1! "Mario Šitum said that his men from Dinamo said he was seriously counting on him in the new season"

We have a great future backline. With guys like Sadegh, Majid hosseini, Milad, pag, Taha with beiro as keeper, our defense is in great shape.

Congrats to sadegh! Inshallah he’s gonna do great and move to a bigger club in a couple seasons

Best of luck to him. Hopefully the damn mafia there doesn't destroy him.

If he succeeds, this means Vouria Ghafouri is basically off - with Rezaian and Mohrammi solidifying their spots.

Assuming he’s ready to play by then, Dinamo has a Champions League qualifier match against the winner of Flora Tallinn and Hapoel Be’er Sheva (Israeli team).... hopefully flora tallinn wins that match so we avoid another Masoud type situation

Congrats! A lot of the Croatian league gets into the Italian, so a couple good seasons and we might see him there
