    Jlloyd was returning home after dropping his kids off to school and collided with an oncoming vehicle.

                    Damn, I just saw this! Feel really bad for his family. One of the best foreign players to have ever played in Iran and Esteghlal. He is part of the Esteghlal family and will never be forgotten!

                    I hope all the players wear a black armband today and the supporters pay tribute to this great man!

                    May he rest in peace!

                          RIP I remember being so surprised that a player with his caliber even came to Iran. I wish the best for his family and friends and hope that they can cope with their loss.

                            Defender who spent more than a decade in the Premier League playing for Aston Villa and Bolton Wanderers FC. He is a UEFA Intertoto Cup, Iran Pro League and Hazfi Cup champion.

                            He became a player-manager at Egerton in 2017.

                            Family Life

                            He married Emma Pritchard.

                            He played with Andranik Teymourian at both Bolton and Esteghlal.
