Tomorrow Uzbekistan will play a warm up game versus Qatar in Thailand. Hopefully Iranian coach will watch this last match before facing Iran.

I'm cheering for these boys, but this is probably our weakest U23 team in decades. We'll be lucky to make it out of the group stage. Qualification would be a complete surprise.

this team has 20x the talent of the 2016 team.

that one was really a dreadful group of guys only ones that really panned out were the mohammadi bros torabi and (arguably) cheshmi. we're talking about a team that had the likes of moradmand, saghebi, daneshgar, naghizadeh, kamdani etc. who didn't even turn out to be good PGL players, that should say a lot in itself.

Fair enough but that team technically should have had JB and Azmoun as well.

Last time we had much better defence line.

Even at MF Ali Karimi, and Mehrdad Mohammadi & Turabi made it to TM , Farshid Esmaeili was good too.
