Absolutely agree. Shekari, Ghaedi, Mohebi, Allahyar and Delfi would be a dream for any competent coach. So much talent and fire power there. The future could be bright.

I was very impressed with Chamanian at u17s. The defensive shape and strcuture he gave to the team was really noticeable and how he maximized the potential of his strong, fast, instinctual front three (Delfi, Allahyar, Qaderi) with accurate long balls to Allahyar or into the space for the aforementioned wingers played by Sharifi, Ghobeishavi, in midfield and Taha in the back.

But then he was unable to even get the next u17 out of group stage of Asian Cup, which was quite bizarre.

Estili has one redeeming quality and that is I think he can motivate and create positive mental situation for the players. Even if he could just implement some basic things tactically in terms of team structure off the ball and defensive shape AS A TEAM, not just back four, it would give a strong foundation because offensively if these players are not selfish they can win games with little coaching based off just talent.

Its all hard to tell exactly what is happening and if improvements are being made as we dont have any highlights, way to watch.

Every game U23 plays has a different defence line even in this last game 2 new defenders started. , Najarian and Karimzadeh.
Iran U23 will play first game in 10 days and still did not figure out 4 defenders.

Estili has fetish playing Noorafkan as a CB and they still concede goals in every game he plays.
Estili took 3 CB players but only played Aghasi.
