I feel like the team is still too packed with talent to just give up on them like that.

With noorafkan also in defense. Mehdikhani is a really talented player, some russian clubs are reportedly interest in him. Really good physically for a winger, hardworking, can score, also playing regularly for table topping padideh. The rest of those guys are well known. They shouldnt be THIS bad.

After match, ghaedi said the team was affected by the weather in Oman, and that they are still improving. Hopefully he is right. With defensive midfield PERSONNEL looking good, the cbs and GK are the only weak point of this team. They have space for three over 23 players. If they just use them right, get in Salimi, Naderi as CBs and Niazmand as GK, then even if krancjar is just holding his balls on the sideline the personnel alone should be able to get past most asian opposition, and get at least close to semi finals and qualifying for olympics., but this is just my opinion. Im sure those that were at the game and St Mark can give more insight, but its dumbfounding that such a talented group of players are still having such big issues with Oman

دو مسابقه دوستانه برابر تیم ملی امید سوریه .

به گزارش سایت رسمی فدراسیون فوتبال، حمید استیلی با بیان این خبر اظهار داشت:دور جدید تمرینات تیم ملی فوتبال امید ایران از روز 24 اذر آغاز می شود و سپس اعضای تیم جهت انجام دو بازی تدارکاتی روز 25 اذر راهی جزیره کیش خواهند شد.
مدیر تیم ملی امید همچنین گفت:طبق برنامه روز 27 آذرماه در کیش نخستین بازی تدارکاتی خودمان را مقابل سوریه برگزار می کنیم که یک حریف قدرتمند است و می تواند بازی بسیار مفیدی باشد. همچنین روز 30 آذر نیز دومین بازی تدارکاتی را در کیش برابر سوریه برگزار می کنیم و سپس در پایان این اردو به تهران بازمی گردیم.

Ira U23 simply does not play good. Talents and fitness are very important but not sufficient, they lack team works and unable to perform to their potential.
They have serious issues on all fronts.
GK: Not good enough
D: They have not found "right" players. They dismissed Gholami, Rahimi and relied on Aghasi and Arta. Against Oman, they used Omid Doreh and Ali Teheran ( MF from Tractorsazi).
MF: some of the players are out of positions.
FW: uninspiring and yet to find the right combination of players.

As for Mehdikhani : Kranjcar played him often as an MF not where he belongs RW.

Its too early but they may need 3 additional players, Niazmand( Hosseini), Salimi ( Hosseini) Gholizadeh ( Turabi)

سه مسابقه تدارکاتی برای این تیم خبر داد.



به گزارش سایت رسمی فدراسیون فوتبال،


اردوی تیم ملی فوتبال امید جهت انجام 3 مسابقه تدارکاتی از روز 24 اذرماه با حضور 26 بازیکن در کمپ تیم های ملی فوتبال آغاز می شود. اعضای تیم روزهای 24 و 25 اذر در تهران تمرین می کنند و سپس به جزیره کیش اعزام خواهند شد.

تیم ملی فوتبال امید سوریه نیز که حریف تیم امید در این مقطع خواهد بود روز 25 اذر وارد کیش می شود. نخستین بازی تدارکاتی روز 27 آذر برگزار خواهد شد و روز 30 آذر دومین بازی را مقابل سوریه انجام میشود


آزاد همچنین با اشاره به قطعی شدن بازی دوستانه تیم امید مقابل اردن اظهار داشت:با توجه به درخواست آقای کرانچار جهت انجام بازی های تدارکاتی مفید و موثر برای تیم امید پس از تقابل با تیم ملی عمان و دو بازی دوستانه برابر سوریه خوشبختانه بازی با اردن در خاک این کشور هم قطعی شد. بر این اساس پس از بازگشت از اردوی کیش

تیم امید روز دوم دی ماه تهران را به مقصد اردن ترک خواهد کرد و در این کشور برابر تیم امید میزبان قرار می گیرد.

Syrian team is strong with may players in Saudi, Iraq, , Lebanon, UAE and Jordan

Next U23 team to play Syria again then Jordan.
There are talks of a tournament in Qatar (Qatar, Kuwait, China ) and a game versus Croatia.
