    Meet your Persian Love Today
It is a simple question we should ask ourselves very soon.

Should we keep CQ if we end up with 0 or 1 point in next WC?

    Explain more if you can.

Yes because if we do badly it's because the IFF didn't do enough to prepare our local players properly. We saw how unready they were against Tunisia and Algeria. We need more than what they are offering. Just qualifying twice is enough for Queiroz to stay in my opinion.

Yes simply because in a group like this, we cannot expect more from our football...we have to remember the situation back in Iran with lack of budget, politics, and everything else going on with the Iranian football including mismanagement and lack of professional attitude, etc.. so no coach can conduct a miracle...and with Kirosh, we have been transformed into a consistent footballing nation that is way more respected football wise compared to 5-6 years ago. that said, we should make no God out of anyone, nor should we consistently bash someone...our problem is that most of us are black and white and either love or hate our football players or coaches.

Then why pay a world class coach 1.2 million euro every year, if we want to end up the last team of our group we can do that with Mayeli Kohan as well!

What is the point of having a world class coach, if we can not use him properly? Do we need a person like CQ to show good result in Asian competition? or a person like Schafer is enough for our team to gain that purpose?

If we play the way we did against Argentina/Chile and get 0 points, I'll be happy and yes we should keep him.

Unfortunately there is only so much a 1.2 mil coach can do...problems start at home and in buildings where politicians and so called football CEO are sitting. Even Pep G. or whoever you think the best coach in the world is cannot make the Iranian football advance for WC group stage on regular basis, yet alone this year's tough group.

In order to end up last in the group you need to first qualify to the world cup and we haven't been able to do that with crappy Iranian coaches we've had so far.

Also it takes a lot more than a world class coach to be able to compete against the likes of Spain and Portugal. You need world class talents and in order to produce those talents you need good academies and infrastructure and leagues.

Absolutely not. If we can't get a win against Morocco, then there is no reason to waste another year and more money on this dude. It would be clear that he has peaked.

I rather pay a Vatani coach or a Branko level coach half of CQ's Salary and instead invest the money on preparation or the u-19 teams.
