Predicting squad shouldnt be too difficult. Probably the only controversial area is will he invite Dejagah/Shojaei or Shekari.

I think we will see :

GK: Beiranvand, Mazaheri, Abedzadeh

DEF : Rezaeian, Moharrami, M. Hosseini, PAG, Cheshmi, Khanzadeh, Mohammadi, Hajsafi

MID: Dejagah, Ezatolahi, Ebrahimi, Amiri, Ghoddos, Shekari, ARJ, Gholizadeh, Torabi

ATT : Rezaei, Ansarifard, Taremi

I have a feeling he will bring one of dejagah or masoud still because we need one very experienced leader deeper into the competition. Ashkan is gonna keep building up match sharpness and will be available for all camps as he is in Iran, and his performances have been good so far. Noorafkan isnt playing enough atm to warrant a call up in a position hajsafi can cover well at asian level. Shekari as I said has a good chance because he is in a very competitive environment and is improving a lot. He showed vs Zenit he is ready, and im sure he will get more and more minutes in the coming months.

Others with a chance of making squad are Esmaeili, Alipour, Hossein Hosseini, Niazmand, and Ali Karimi.

Starting xi is way harder to predict, given that we will play some weak ass teams to begin with, so I think CQ will opt for a blend of new players and a few WC players in those games (like vs Yemen), but then by Iraq game be playing mostly the main starters to get ready for knockouts. But he always has a surprise up his sleeve, and it really depends on the opposition.

I highly doubt Shekari make the squad that early. I think, Niazmand, Farshid Esmaieli, Mahammad Karimi, Reza Asadi, Alipour, Daneshgar and few others have a good chance of making it.
The club situation of Saeid, Ramin and Karim, Ehsan can't be positive for TM. Consider all 4 started in WC!!
I also think Dejagah will make the squad.

I think Ryan Tafazolli should be called up as a back up for the Asian Cup. He's been doing great, starting and playing full games week in week out for Peterborough. His team is also currently first in the league and on track to promote to the Championship. He may not be amazing, but he should be good enough for Asian level competition

He plays in a stronger leauge than PAG did back when he was in Qatar. Hopefully he gets called up to conserve energy for our bigger matches.

در این میان، حجت الاسلام و المسلمین دکتر حسن روحانی،رییس جمهوری روز یکشنبه در تماس تلفنی با شیخ تمیم بن حمد آل ثانی امیر قطر گفت و گو کرد. یکی از موضوعات طرح شده در این نشست،همکاری های دوجانبه در زمینه برگزاری جام جهانی 2022 قطر بوده است.

روحانی در تماس با امیر قطر با اشاره به توانمندی شرکت های ایرانی برای اجرای پروژه های عمرانی در عرصه های مختلف اظهار داشت:شرکت های ایرانی برای صدور خدمات فنی و مهندسی بویژه مشارکت در اجرای پروژه های عمرانی قطر برای مسابقات جام جهانی فوتبال در سال 2022 میلادی، کاملا آمادگی دارند.با توجه به پیشنهاد ریاست جمهوری اسلامی ایران و مذاکرات قبلی میان فدراسیون دو کشور،به نظر می رسد فرصت مناسبی برای تقویت همکاری های دوجانبه در برگزاری مسابقات جام جهانی فراهم خواهد شد

مسئولان فدراسیون فوتبال در حال رایزنی برای تدارک 2 بازی دوستانه برای تیم ملی فوتبال ایران در روزهای 15 و 20 شهریور
که فیفادی محسوب می شود هستند
ولی تاکنون چیزی قطعی نشده است.رقبای تیم ملی برای این دو تاریخ به احتمال فراوان آسیایی خواهند بود.
