He has also coached the "Dalkurd" PKK club .

Where is he born? Is he really Iranian?

He was born in Karaj. Last year, his team was after Hamed Lak and Khanzadeh

Goteborg wouldnt be a bad step for some of our players ( not necessarily TM ones), but I could see Haghighi, maybe some younger guys doing well there. All the best to him

IFK G has got a long history and tradition in Sweden so it’s great achievement for an Iranian.

Anyone saying Pouya 4TM? Maybe in CQ’s assistance?

Ps- I agree he has a big nose, but then all we Iranians do! lol

Im all for Alexander Nouri for TM. Although he would do good to continue in Bundesliga/Bundesliga 2 ( he will definitely have offers) , and come to TM later. His offensive, gegenpressing style of play will add something completely new to TM, and that style will be easier to implement succesfully given we already have a strong team defensive unit

He reminds me of Gholamreza Rezaei.

                    My best wishes for him!

Göteborg fans are excited about him, and his old team Gefle are depressed about losing him. Last season Gefle were dead last in superettan (second division) and playing horrible football. Then he took over mid season and turned it around, saving them from relegation while playing exciting football.

I think we have a new coaching star on the rise. 32 years old and managing one of Swedens top teams. Kudos to him.

This is awesome considering that Gothenburg has a decent Iranian population and the culture shock for any player he would bring from Iran wouldn't be too bad.

I hope He brings Alipour or Delfi to Sweden.
