October/November, they have nothing to report as the main unveilings were already done long ago. No big news aswell to share.
And yet they report about some Egyptian, Israeli or Indonesia team but nothing about PP new jerseys (second time after April).

I give them benefit of doubt because I'm not sure they get the news and if iranian members and Twitter accounts did their job to send them the news with link, pics.

Come on guys, do the job : https://www.varzesh3.com/news/178712...B9%DA%A9%D8%B3
      (PP twitter account).

We can not complain of the same stereotypes and do nothing when for once we have something representing old persia

Someone know why Iran has so low odds for WC in betting website? Even tokhmi countries have better odds while we had two good shows in 2014 & 2018?

Probably based on historical performance (never making it past the group stage). Having said that, I'm all for everyone (other teams, bookies, coaches, etc) underestimating us. Would love to be the dark horse in WC22!

Low odds of what? Winning a game? Progressing to round of 16?
Betting sites are the only place where we want a lack of respect for TM. Lower odds means higher returns. We all will make a more handsome profit from TM's success.

We're overpriced. Bet 365 have us @ 251. Some other random bookies @ 501. Many teams are given lower odds although they have still work to do and are not assured at all to qualify.

I love World Cup bets. Especially those where you predict which two teams make it out of the group. If you predict also the order correctly there is lots of money to make.

I'll wait for the draw. If we get a doable group I will bet on us to make it out of the group this time. Possibly put some bucks on TM to reach the quarterfinals if I detect some value in the odds.

TBH I'm not certain and no expert on this but I once learned how betting odds have a lot to do with how many people are likely to bet in favour of that team / the popularity of the team.

For example, England will have better odds against certain teams that are clearly better and more likely to win, only because the bookies know that a lot of England fans will bet for an england win, so they'll make the odds look like England are "favourites", to avoid losing a lot of money.

Not sure how much this would apply to Iran, but I believe in certain matchups it's likely that more people will bet for the other team and the odds will look weird.

Also worth bearing in mind the market doesn't get conned by unimpressive performances cobbled together for a misleading winning streak against goatherders.

Having said that, Unibet traders have made a major error in pricing us up :

I don't think its based on that. How does china , ivory coast , egypt , Senegal etc.. have better historical peformance than our team. I think they genuinely think our team is weak.

again i think we need to play against some top teams to really see the strength of our team.

It looks like the market odds are definitely off as Skybet's odds above also demonstrate. It's just too early for the market to be particularly accurate, once the qualified teams are known we'll take our rightful place as approximately 25th out of 32.

Crazy to think that the bet I won on the horses a couple of years ago had the same likelihood of happening as Iran winning the World Cup.
