Guys best thing to happen is that others underestimate us so no I'd say keep it coming. We are the least ranked Pot3 team so it's natural that teams want us. I fully understand this and it is no offense or whatsoever. Let us prove them wrong on the field is my message.

One of our biggest hopes to succeed in russia is being underestimated . Opponents that underestimate us will neglect having plans to shut down our key players , or will neglect actually finding weaknesses in our defensive schemes, bc they will assume it will be a walk in the park.

Do not feel angry at such articles , welcome them ! Then on the pitch CQ and the boys will do the talking, and the whole world will be forced to stand up and take notice

Given the lack of knowledge/respect given to TM by most outside "experts", the teams that get grouped with TM will "prepare" by playing the likes of Iraq, Saudi, UAE, etc, thinking that TM playing style are basically the same as Arab nations. They'll be in for a big surprise when they face a physical, agile, and offensive-minded TM.

Given the fact that we are in pot 3, then I understand why many of teams in Pot 1 would prefer us. Just look at some of the other teams in pot3: Sweden, Denmark, Egypt, Tunisia. I understand why they prefer us. Of course it is also based on the fact that they don't know that much about our strengths. It could be cool for TM to be so strong that it will make the nation that prefers us in their group to come to regret their wish in the end.

You guys need to relax. It is to our benefit for teams to overlook us and have poor information about our players. Let them not take our forwards seriously, and then laugh in their faces when Azmoun sends a screaming header past their keeper.

I don't understand what Egipt and Tunisia have more than us.

Not all foreign countries are the same. In Belgium they are usually more in depth and have better knowledge.

A belgian analist about his favorite WC group with Belgium:
Denmark: decent team with Eriksen and easier to prepare than Iran or Tunisia.
Mexico: fun game, and for revenche (3-3 game)
South Korea: they are weaker than before, losing to Iran ,china and Qatar.

                  Then he said:
A difficult group would be Spain (world class team) Morroco (a lot of talented players. IRAN (PLAYS THE BEST FOOTBALL IN ASIA AT THE MOMENT)

31% of Spanish polled prefer Iran to be in Spain's group from Pot 3 ... by far the highest out of all pot 3 teams.

Guys please close this thread. It's not bias for other countries to prefer playing the lowest ranked team in the 3rd pot.

Yeah, but on the other hand if you look at the poll there, out of all the pot 3 teams Iran (with 20%) has the most votes in terms of the most prefered team to draw.

But that is based on ordinary people's votes, not on "experts".
