I would love to have our woman in the stadium... the atmosphere would be even greater! I remember when Fenerbahce had some issues or something and for one game only allowed woman and children into the stadium and how amazing the atmosphere was. Not saying that should be the longtime solution but maybe at first, allow only woman into a game and let them enjoy and see how awesome it would be if we had our mothers and sisters in the stadium.

We should fight to get rid of forcing hejab on women instead of trying to get them into a stadium that has no trouble getting 100k + attendance.

This is just very stupid. Iran is even behind super conservative Saudis in this matter. Backward and maniac mullahs deny women entering stadium for dubious reasons. Now even Saudi Arabia let their women celebrate with their family in stadium but not Iran.

If they do allow it, do you guys think it will be like the metro system where men and women are divided. Like will they make a special section just for the ladies?

if you are referring to the metro system in tehran, it isn't divided, there are mixed carriages and then there is a women only carriage and women can use that also if they choose too

After people actually believed for one second that IR was going to let women in Azadi to watch the game ... they cancelled it. This is the Islamic Republic that some of you naively think is going to be reformed.

اجازه ورود نمی*دهند. مردم هم با بوق زدن اعتراض می*کنند.

This is the most pathetic and stupidest principle the Islamic government insists upon. Man and women in our society work together and have close contacts 24/7 and yet this pathetic segregation only brings shame to this government and regime. This is beyond belief.

Specific women friendly stadium infrastructure? What the hell does that even mean? Softer seats or shorter steps?

For such a small thing look how much pressure is needed for them to even say yes. They want us to kick and scream all the way. Poor ladies .

                              Wow.

Kudos to the tireless female activists who persisted and made this possible. But the Islamic Republic deserves no high praise for reluctantly conceding a fundamental right that Iranian women had before 1979
