Hajsafi is more of a DM like teymourian, where he puts pressure on the attacking players and goes for interceptions, Ebrahimi is more like Nekounam (and Ezatolahi) where he is much more active with one on one tackles, distributing the ball, connecting the defenders with the wingers, and taking long range shots. Therefore he will be a great replacement for Ezatolahi (he is smaller, but he has a much better shot and passing ability). Together these DM playing styles really compliment each other.

I actually wish Ando was still fit and performing, he was one of the best DMs we have ever had, very aggressive, non stop pressure, great tackles, and a magic touch when it came to passes. But the Ebrahimi / Hajsafi duo would be interesting to observe, I am sure on paper it will work out. Also with Hajsafi, Mohammadi has more space to move forward, since Ehsan will cover his position.

I have absolutely no problem with a Hajsafi/Ebrahimi duo for the first WC game. The duo already have chemistry from their Sepahan days.
This will allow Ezzatollahi to be fresh for the 2nd WC game.
