I can't believe the Taremi hate.

He assisted both goals and made lots of chances. He was one of our best.

He needs to get back in shape and he will be the same Taremi from last year's spring. This game was his best game of the season so far.

It was a very poor advise to stay away from training sessions just to "force" a transfer, which failed miserably. Pre-season is very important.

Taremi worked his a$$ off, assisted two goals, perfectly played his role. The guy was probably our best player in this qualifiers.

I think fatigue from the South Korea match played a big factor in today's game. A few of our players, such as Mohammadi, were not as sharp as they were when playing against South Korea.

Our back line definitely needs Hosseini back. We are still in need of a solid replacement for Nekunam.

I honestly didn't understand the subs made by CQ.. Not to mention that they were made so early, basically forcing Dejagah/Azmoun to play 90 minutes. Which neither of them usually do.

The 2ng goal actually inflated a false sense of confidence especially since TM started the second half so strong hitting the post, attacking, and then TM thought Syria has given up. They forgot that for them a draw will allow them to remain in the competition, and this is what they got. For TM it was an immensely valuable 'friendly'. It completely highlighted our weakness, both mental and tactical. It showed that football is a game of over 90 minutes ( aka Messi goal in Min 92!) and it showed CQ that our team needs more friendlies . We didnt lose so this is huge plus! we came out on top of the group -AGAIN!- and we only conceded TWO goals for a total of 5 goals in 18 games!! ZERO LOSS!

CQ himself said in the press conference, that some young and inexperienced players couldn't handle the pressure and this could to be sorted out with friendly games.

It seemed like iran gave chance to syria to score at the end, no damn persian honor there.

And according to Sardar, the Syrian player insulted our players throughout the game. He said, he can't understand why Syrians are supposed to be our brothers.

If syrians could choose to save between a dying arab and iranian, they would choose to save the arab, they are not our brother, rather iranian leaders brother which are arab nuthuggers.
