If AJ wasn't Iranian, he would be playing on a top tier team in England.

whoscored had Ali JB 8,6 rating MOTM! JB had 75 touches most in entire match! Its rare to get such a high rating in a losing team

From what I see in Eredivisie
Get 2 CBs from IPL and win the title

              Alireza Jahanbakhsh @ AZ Alkmaar | 2017 - 2018

I am frustrated that Jahanbakhsh is still at this average club who are not even in EL.

I see less effective wingers in the Eredivisie making top 3 league moves left and right while he's at AZ.

His development will stagnate again soon if he stays 1 year more.

Its really quite strange. His past seasons have been easily rewarding a move to a top three league. Do you have any idea why it hasnt developed ? Could it be the length of the contract he signed with AZ?

He was the winger with the best stats of all Eredivisie wingers last season: at a mid table team that is really remarkable.

He's probably too loyal to the club just like at NEC, he feels like he is obligated to sit out the length of his contract (5 years).

He has a very professional attitude but it hurts him in moving to better teams.

The top 3 of Eredivisie doesn't buy him because his non EU salary is too high and their scouts generally prefers unknown Brazilians.

The bias towards Iranian players is very unfair and it's clear that it is more political than anything.

Didn't Larsson have the most assists of the league though?

                      He's no Dembele or Coutinho

Alireza Jahanbakhsh had a MOTM performance v. Eredivisie giants, PSV - in front of Maradona. He won a penalty and hit the post.

He's in a great form. Unlucky not to have scored a couple.

Can't wait for his to play either in Bundesliga or EPL, where he can excel with his style of the game.

Isn't he coaching some Arab team? I think he and his team are having a Summer Camp in The Netherlands.
