I'm proud of players like Shahab for choosing Europe over the IPL. Of course we all should thank Carlos as a source of motivation for our athletes to play abroad. This will only benefit the footballers individually and our national football team. If the trend continues, we may have more than 40-50 players playing their football in Europe in the next 2-3 years. This would grant more options for our Team Melli head coach and staff. Hopefully it would create a chain reaction that will continue to grow even after Queiroz is gone.

^I completely agree, BUT I'm somehow afraid that a vatani coach will change it all to that bikhial attitude, and it's up to god, so we will see the bache nane group consisting of those like Taremi grow..

this guy was struggling to play for machine sazi last season. Now he is on a team that will be competing to be in Europa League, and is quickly making himself a starter. Just think of the many many talents in iran that could be playing for top euro sides by now if they just left iran around 20-21 and started to establish themselves. Our players have immense talent, and when combined with coaching, physical training, and professionalism of europe they can go far.

^^ AND would accept to start in a low profile European league. After having seen our 90s and millenium generation of players in Europe, i'm convinced we have to start in a lower profile leagues and work our way up.

Being contracted by Bayern and sitting on the bencht doesn't help us.
Iran deserves better, TM deserves better.

His performance. He gave an assist and was named man of the match.

He got the start against Grindavik (mid-table) and scored in the 1st minute with game going on right now... not sure about any way to watch it though
