Yes ofcourse they do, they are important TM players who play abroad.

I don't understand this relentless bashing of Ansarifard and Rezaeian (and other players)?

Al-Shahania is trying to escape relegation. They are safe for now thanks to a Ramin panenka.

Al-Shahania has been relegated. Ramin scored twice but it wasn't enough. 14 in total this season.

Ramin Rezaeian, a right back, has more goals this season than Ansarifard and Almoez Ali COMBINED. He also has twice the amount of goals as Uruguayan International Striker Abel Hernandez.

I saw parts of the game today, and to be fair, he was not a right back. He played right mid most of first half and pretty much center forward the second half. They had a dedicated right back the whole time.

the weakest part of his game for TM is his defensive work, positioning, keeping possession in tight spaces, Im sure that will be improved by playing CF in qatar...

Nevertheless I give him props for playing well there. Clearly he really does not want to go back to iran.

But I would really stop short of saying that this goal tally somehow qualifies him more for starting spot than say moharrami, busting his ass in an extremely competitive EU club.

he really hustles in game ... probably his best attribute

Happy for Ramin. He seems happy but their is no room for him in TM. We have better forwards then him.

With a good agent, he should be able to get a decent team in Turkey, Greece or maybe even Belgium!
Iran deserves better, TM deserves better.

There was a guy named Carlos Queiroz who rated him highly as a right back, he was a fixed player in his team for 4 long years. Rezaeian is an outstanding player by Asian standards truly underrated by Iranian football fans. His fighting spirit was unmatched in TM, he has the mentality of a warrior.

What makes you think he even wants to go back to Europe? He was having nervous breakdowns in Belgium. He went to Qatar to make easy money in a low pressure, low standard league, not to prepare himself for Europe...

I think he's done with Europe. I think he is genuinely happy in Qatar similar to PAG.

All the best to Ramin, but his time in TM is done. We have a promising Moharrami waiting to take over his spot and rightfully so. He might shine as a CF in a weak league like Qatar, but he miserably failed for a small team Oostende in the Belgian league. Tells you everything about his true abilities.
