As I'm not following other asian national teams , I can only talk about iranian players who deserve to be added
    Seyed Jalal Hosseini
    Alireza Jahanbakhsh
    Sardar Azmoun
    And asian players in europe
    Son Heung Min
    Shinji Kagawa
And about OAR you can't deny that he is one of the most creative arab players ever and you can see AK8's shadow in his moves... So i'd like to add him to the squad

yes he should. Magical talent. Im not saying he should be in top five or something, but top ten, yes he deserves it.

Forget the magical talent part because he hasn't played anyone ...

        What are his accomplishments, really?

It's too much... There's nothing magical about him!
btw he's good enough to get included

            Too much? For 2016 please.

OK - so he made ACL finals. His UAE team was stacked. But if ACL finals is good enough, shouldn't we include the best player who won the ACL finals?

All I'm saying is that he's good at Asia level specially comparing with other Arab players
But honestly I don't know if he can play effective in front of worldclass opponents

He's 25 and hasn't yet - so this is disqualifying.

How did Okazaki do for Leicester City last year? Was he a starter or ... didn't watch much BPL last year

No disrespect but it would take away from the credibility of the article if he wasn't. He is widely considered one of the best in the continent....if tou say he isn't top 5 that's fine but it would be almost absurd to leave him out of the top 10.

He was regularly starter and did really well
But the fact is he is 30 and got nothing on Azmoun

I think he should make it, probably 9-10.

We've had this discussion. OAR isn't effective. He's flashy but his moves translate to nothing. Even in the UAE national team he's among the more effective players. Plus he's already reached his ambitions. He's happy with UAE money.

He was a starter but as i mentioned in my post he has played little this year, doesnt have good stats combined for this year. However, given the fact that he did play very well last year and won the league with leicester, he deserves to be in top ten, maybe not top 5. Koo Ja Chaeol also definitely deserves to be in top 10, talked about him in my earlier post, very impressive stats from midfield for augsburg in 2016

Kagawa at 10 , lol with irvine, mooy, and jae sung ahead of him ?? wtf, his stats for 2016 for dortmund are incredible. Second best asian player behind Son.

                                My Final List
1- Son (tottenham) ( South Korea)
                                2- Kagawa (Dortmund) (Japan)
                                3- Azmoun (Rostov) (Iran)
                                4 - Okazaki (Leicester) ( Japan)
                                5-Rogic ( celtic) (Australia)
                                6-Jahanbaksh (AZ) (Iran)
7- Koo Ja Chaeol ( Augsburg) (South Korea)
                                8- abdulrahman (Al Ain) (UAE)
                                9 - Nagatomo (Inter) (Japan)
                                10 - Mohammadi (Terek) (Iran)

if no abdulrahman, a case can be made for Ansarifard (olympiacos) or sakai (hamburg)(Japan), either of which would come in as my number 10 pushing nagatomo and mohammadi up to 8th and 9th.
