    Follow PFDC's Twitter Account - @FootballPersian

    Hey everyone,

Webmaster has entrusted me to take over PFDC's Twitter account (https://twitter.com/FootballPersian). Twitter is my favourite social media platform and it is full of incredible information. One area where I saw the Iranian football community lacking was in the Twittersphere. While we no doubt have the best, liveliest online community (PFDC), I saw many other Asian communities really outpace us on Twitter and wanted to glorify Team Melli's name there.

    - I have deleted all previous tweets (they were just uploads of videos).
    - Have a template moving forward to keep it informative, sleek and media-rich.
    - Changed all descriptive info & Twitter name

So far, in a few short tweets we are getting good traction! AZ Alkmaar official Twitter even liked one of our tweets and the GIFs - provided by lovely members here - are real good. I will be updating the account with info from Team Melli, legionnaires and PGL. I would ask the community here, who are media savvy to try once in a while to create gifs or other media I can share on there. I want to keep an unbias, professional Twitter account where we are just sharing news and satisfying the cravings of Team Melli lovers! We want a credible stream.

Please follow and like and RT PFDC's tweets!! If you do not have Twitter, please sign up. You will not be disappointed.

I will be working closely with Nariman - who is so tireless and does an incredible job with all the media, social media and PFDCTV. We are indebted to him.

Thank you this is the exposure we need. Do you know if we have an instagram account as well?

Thank you again for all the hard work.

Please try to follow some football writers, particularly those who work for the Guardian and ESPN. If they start utilizing PFDC as a resource for Iranian football it would a nice reputation boost for the site internationally.

Guardian football for example every 4 years has a very comprehensive World Cup coverage with reporters/blogs from every participating nation preparing reports, participating in blogs... every nation except Iran had decent reports and coverage. I don't even know who the reporter they got for Iran was.

Thank you once again Tehranto jaan for taking over! It’s to our benefit, to all of us + Iranian Football, that our community continues to grow and we need more people like Tehranto that are actually willing to help.

We now are present on so many social media platforms. Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Telegram...something for everyone. It's way too much work for 2 or 3 persons, but if more join we can easily handle all of them at the same time with daily updates. Again, at the end you can only benefit - endless infos, photos, videos - a complete free service. So please follow & support as much as you can so we can entertain you more & more in the future!!

btw. the changes you did bro. were dope. Actually I don't know much about Twitter yet, but will certainly follow and try to learn from you

Steven beitashour liked one of our tweets and is now following us! As Nokhodi said, our goal is to become a highly credible Team melli news organization - where we can provide key insights about Iranian football to outsiders.

I really recommend everyone to get Twitter. Not just for PFDC's twitter (clear cut number one reason ), but because it really is the best way to be informed. You can follow your favorite commentator, athlete, teams, etc. What you hear on Twitter is not what you hear on the mainstream media.

So much more substance than Facebook and Instagram.

tehranto you are the man. One suggestion : give updates of legionairres general performances each week like we do in the forum in a 1-2 post summary. What do you think ? for instance this week " Iranians in europe; Weekend 11/26 - Milad mohammadi played 90 mins in terek grozny's 1-0 loss to table topping Spartak. and was their best player per whoscored with a rating of 7.5. Sardar Azmoun scored again for rostov in their 2-0 win, while Saeid ezzatolahi was on the bench. In holland, Alireza Jahanbaksh scored a screamer for AZ in their 5-1 win over heracles, while Reza gucci started Herenveens 1-0 loss to ajax. Lastly, Alexander Nouri's saw his werder bremen team salvaged a tie away to hamburg and remain just outside the drop zone, at 16th place.

I think each team and player deserves their own post - that way it highlights each player. Plus, it's 140 characters. I will put Nouri into the equation, as well as Ryan Tafazolli per weekly round up. Key is - information has to be presented in a informative and beautiful way. I will tweak templates for posts as we keep going - but with the response we seem to be on the right path. I want the PFDc twitter to be a one stop shop for iran football news - to be THE source.

                            Thanks for suggestions
Thanks for the nice words guys
