Alex featured for Bolton U21 vs. Bristol City earlier this week. He was subbed in on the 57th min and had a few oppurtunities:

"Introducing Alex Samizadeh to the field as they went in search of an equaliser, Wanderers managed to level the scores with a sublime effort of their own midway through the half.

Both sides pushed forward in search of a late winner with Wollacott and Jaaskelainen both called into action to deny Samizadeh and James Difford respectively inside the final ten minutes.

Samizadeh went close again in stoppage-time as he fired narrowly wide, but neither side was able to find an elusive second goal as the Whites ended up with a share of the spoils from their opening game of the campaign."

Alex Samizadeh nets four as young Whites secure an emphatic victory at Macron Stadium

Bolton Wanderers Under-23s eased to a comfortable 6-1 victory over Queens Park Rangers at Macron Stadium on Monday.

In a dominant display at Macron Stadium, Alex Perry opened the scoring early on for David Lee's side before Alex Samizadeh took centre-stage as he netted a jaw-dropping four-goal haul.

Huyga Tanner extended their lead further in stoppage-time, before QPR netted an even later consolation as Wanderers wrapped up an emphatic win.

Captained by Lawrie Wilson, Lee named a strong side for the game with deadline day signings Ben Alnwick and Tom Thorpe handed starting roles alongside Derik Osede as he stepped up his return from injury.

Starting brightly, the Whites could have found themselves ahead inside the opening five minutes as Samizadeh raced clear onto Jack Earing's through-ball only to be denied by Timothy Seny Dieng after cutting inside onto his left foot.

However, Bolton did not have to wait long to open the scoring as their experience showed in the game's opening moments.

Finding space on the edge of the area, Perry powered low beyond Seny Dieng into the bottom corner to break the deadlock and fire his side ahead.

At the other end, Ben Alnwick was called into action for the first time to save Eberechi Eze's free-kick, but it proved to be a rare chance for the visitors with Hyuga Tanner and Samizadeh both firing narrowly off-target as the Trotters looked to increase their lead.

Having seen Brandon Adams drill wide from an acute angle and Alnwick alert to tip behind a fierce long-range strike, Wanderers netted a deserved second shortly after the half-hour mark.

Coming courtesy of the lively Samizadeh as he opened his Under-23s account for the season, the forward side-stepped an opposing defender as he cut inside the left before drilling low into the corner.

QPR could have halved the deficit shortly before the break as the ball fell kindly to Adams inside the box, only for the forward to be denied by Alnwick from point-blank range.

After the interval, Josh O'Hanlon was unfortunate not to extend the Whites' lead further after connecting sweetly following good work from Samizadeh, only to see his stinging effort fly straight at Seny Dieng.

The visitors began to look more threatening as the half wore on with Dan Darbyshire failing to hit the target when well-placed after running onto a cross inside the six-yard box.

Matthew Fearnley and Alex Honeyball were introduced soon after in place of Thorpe and Derik as Bolton looked to see the game out.

QPR went close again moments later as Ody Alfa rifled wide from 30 yards after bursting forward through midfield.

But Samizadeh soon put the game to bed with his second of the game, beating Seny Dieng with an unstoppable drilled effort across goal into the bottom corner.

The forward did not have long to wait to clinch his hat-trick as he found the top corner with another thunderous effort from distance with just over ten minutes left on the clock.

However, the Iranian had not finished yet. Not content with three, he claimed his fourth late on, calmly slotting home into an empty net after Seny Dieng had denied O'Hanlon.

There was still time for Hyuga Tanner to extend Bolton's lead further in stoppage-time as he powerful fired home, before QPR netted an even later consolation.

But the night belonged to Samziadeh as the Trotters clinched a devastating victory over their opponents from the capital.

        TEAM

Bolton: Alnwick, Wilson, Lonsdale, Derik (Honeyball 63), Lavelle, Thorpe (Fearnley 63), Tanner, Earing, O'Hanlon, Samizadeh (Marsh 88), Perry.

        Subs (unused): Jaaskelainen, Spooner.

Will he be invited to Iran's javanan team? Seems like a promising talent that could potentially partner up with Azmoun in the future

^^^ I would even say that he is the solution to our problem in attacking midfield on the long run. He could become our Francesco Totti. WC 2022 will be his big stage.

Please tell me if England can steal him from us?

He only arrived in England in 2013. Surely that's not enough time to play for England.

Is the IFF even aware of this guy? If not, then he needs to be brought to their attention. He could be playing in the U-19's right now and tearing sh#t up!

He also liked someone who suggested he's a future Team Melli player on Twitter. He wants to play for Iran.

                        He wont play for England.

Harry Kane/Sterling/Sturridge/Lallana and Barkley are what the media wants. So thats who gets called up.

His posts are Iranian. A player wanting to play for England would solely post in English.

Has he featured for Bolton 1st team yet ..!? If not 4 goals in a match is a serious sign of his readiness ..!

The idiots in iff need to invite the kid to Omid ASAP.

I have a feeling we will see him added to Team Melli in early 2017.

                            My gut says 2017.
