We can't make an Aspire Academy and the like obviously but I doubt things like Kia FC are draining financial resources. We need a lot more of that in our football. Some rules regarding youth team incorporation etc for IPL would also work but we have money hungry dallals who make a living off shipping guys like Mohammad Ghazi from club to club each year.

What a joy to see Branko in KSA. Hopefully iranian medias won't speak about him as much as they are doing right now

I disagree, he is more familiar with Asian football in contrast to the rest of managers and took a team to Asian Champions League final in 2009. I mean sure, I would’ve liked Massimo Carrera, but until clubs are not privatized, such will not occur unfortunately. Still not a bad coach. I am more angry about not signing quality foreign players, a good manager is only half the battle.

Caldreon is a bad choice for PER.

I remember him making a gesture indicating a bribe paid to the ref in one match.

The ref was Masoud Moradi and AFC banned Calderon for 6 months because of it.

We shall see how he does but my eyes don't drink water for his success at PER.

Calderon is a good coach. His teams play good football. I like this choice.

^ same here. Hope he has not lost his touch after a couple of years of no coaching, but surprisingly a decent choice by PP's brain-dead management.

Sometimes I feel like Iranian teams hire any foreign coach for the sake of them being foreign.
