Can any of our German knowing members check the Kicker interview this is supposedly from?

The online publication does not show the entire interview.

Deepl translation of the article on Kicker Online:

The world goal scorer could lose his record

Ali Daei pays homage to Ronaldo: 'No one deserves the record more than him'

With 109 goals in 149 international matches for Iran, Ali Daei has held a seemingly eternal record since 2006. Now it is shaking. In an interview with kicker, the ex-Bundesliga player tells us who he would like to see succeed him and what he does today in football and as a businessman.

It could be as early as March, in the next international fixture. In games against football dwarfs like Azerbaijan or Luxembourg, Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo has the chance to decisively improve his proud record of 102 goals in 170 games for the national team - so much so that Ali Daei's seemingly eternal record of 109 goals, scored in "only" 149 games from 1993 to 2006, will be wiped out.

"No one would have deserved my record more than him," the Iranian pays homage to his potential successor in advance, however. "He is without a doubt the best footballer of all time. I am convinced that there is a reward for all those who are determined and work hard. Thus, it would be a decent reward for him."

In the kicker interview (next Monday's edition), the former Bundesliga professional (19 goals in 107 appearances for Arminia Bielefeld, FC Bayern and Hertha BSC from 1997 to 2002) talks about his time as the first Iranian player in the 1st division, which he was in the 1997/98 season together with his compatriots Karim Bagheri and Khodadad Azizi. "After all, I not only played in Germany but also lived there. And I learned every day as a young person, curious as I was."

After all, I not only played in Germany, I also lived there. And I learned every day as a young person, curious as I was.

        A post at Everton FC?
Daei, now 51, also tells of curious stories: Rumours about his death after a car accident and the reason why he once did not want to sit next to ex-President Ahmadinejad on a flight. After several coaching stints (including as national coach in Iran), there have been recent contacts in England, where a post may be waiting at Everton FC, the club of his compatriot and majority owner there, Farhad Moshiri. Direct talks about this are to take place when the pandemic situation allows it again.

In Iran, Daei, an engineer with a degree in metallurgy, had built up other professional footholds, such as a company for sportswear. "Then came the international sanctions against our country. Now I'm a partner in an insurance company and in the steel industry."

I just read on BBC Persian via Instagram daie said he’s going - I’m going to try to find out from some of his friends if there’s anything they can tell me on his role since we still haven’t heard anything about that.

Daie hasn’t even shared details with his inner circle/closest friends. Very strange he’s being so secretive about it all.

Maybe he’d be charged with coaching their academy !?
He’s more than qualified for that & he is brilliant @ recognition & development of young talents & can be a valuable addition to their scouting crew & help bring more international recognition to the club in general ..!
But it’d be fantastic if he is trusted with some form of assistant coaching job of their first team ..!

Definitely a loss for Everton and its player recruitment plans. Let's see if they can secure another high profile manager.

Don't know if Moshiri has an other nationality, but in this case I am sure Moshiri send its iranian passport in the dust bin. I also guess his children name is Michael and Bobby

Moshiri's flag should just be a dollar bill.
