Damet garm. It was a fresh breeze for me to read this article...tired of hearing negative issues about Iran in the news all the time.

TFC's first game of the season is this Sunday against Red Bull NY....I had tickets for the game but I had to sell them unfortunately because I have an important event to be at on Sunday. That being said I just found out on their Instagram page that they're training at a university very near mine so if I can manage to get over there tomorrow I'll go check out their training.

            "Steven Beitashour: Starting opener
Posted on March 6, 2016 at 9:34 AM

Beitashour (quad) is starting Sunday against the Red Bulls.

            ROTOWIRE FANTASY ANALYSIS
Beitashour's ailment kept him from training fully last week, but he is good to go for the opener against a very tough Red Bulls attack."

I know we have many talented right defenders, but Carlos should include him in his list again.

I know traveling to Iran from the other side of the world will mess up a football player due to jet lag, but Carlos should call him up for the qualifiers. He can use him off the bench if God forbid we get an injury.

                Just my thoughts.

I saw a couple quick one touch passes & no defensive errors. The whole team did well to keep a clean sheet away from home.

Looks like Toronto FC will be playing on the road for a couple months for stadium renovations.

Beitashour vs. New York Red Bull:

"Experience at the Back: Toronto FC brought in 480 games of MLS experience in the offseason to help the defensive shape of the team. Leave Will Johnson alone a moment, but the trio of goalkeeper Clint Irwin, right-back Steven Beitashour and centre-half Drew Moor were integral in picking up the three points."

Will he ever be featured in CQ's plans again? Or forever in line after Heydari, Rezaeian etc?

Beitashour was weak on David Villa's second goal but in all fairness DV used his arm to control the ball in the box.

30th min Toronto losing 2-0....beita is somewhat at fault for the 2nd goal but that goal shouldn't have been allowed, it was a clear hand ball on the NYC FC forward.

Not Steven's fault, should've been handball on David Villa
