Oh my, hopefully someone is not taking the piss.

Shahin Biniazz just subbed in minute 77

He's number 14 on Bayer Leverkusen.

There is also another alleged Iranian, Muhammad Karkar - number 6 on Essen playing. He's a defensive midfielder.

Almost gets a one on one opportunity! Nice sprint for a one on one but the tall Essen player gets back and makes a great tackle.

Great shot by Biniazz from top of the box, nice save by the keeper. Gets corner.

Thanks, would be great if another Iranian German can turn into a Dejagah for us.

Karkar is used as a last name in Iran but his first name is not spelled like that in Iran. Could be another case where a wrong nationality has been added on transfermarkt. See his instagram page where the Turkish flag is added next to his username https://instagram.com/muhammedx61

Shahin wins another corner. His speed is giving the defenders trouble.

Remember, this is his second (sub) game back from a major injury. He will even be better soon.

He is playing as a lone forward as Bayer is protecting a 1-0 lead.

Both teams lost. Sabetkar played the full game and Pichkah played the last 15. Sundsvall lost 5-1 at home today so he may be given a chance to start soon.

Dennis Eckert Ayensa played earlier in a 1-0 loss for Ingolstadt. They are as good as relegated. 10 points behind the team in the relegation play off place with 12 points left to play for.
