This kid seems like the real deal. I think he can surprise a lot of people in a year or two.

Very interesting that he is half Italian, but living in Iran since 2013.

Is the Iranian-Italian backgrounds very common in Iran?

Also I hope he become a very big player, but still plays for IRAN.

It's ridiculous that there are around 5 million Iranians abroad, yet we don't really get any great footballers from that contingent (exceptions are Dejagah are Gucci)

There are less Bosnians abroad, yet they do very well as footballers.

He is only 16, yet he plays for the under 21's. No comparisons here but that's similar to Messi's younger days.

I'm 16 aswell. We're did it go all wrong for me. [emoji17]

Edit: he turned 17 on November the 10th

That's because Iranians abroad rather become doctors or engineers than athletes. Mostly due to their parents' high expectations

this guy deserves a call up to 18's for us. Him and Shekari would be a great duo...

I'm trying to stay up to date with this guy's matches.

It's looks like he has now fully moved to the under 21 side after his two goals for them. He has not featured in the last five under 18 matches so he has probably been fully promoted to the under 21.

They are currently sitting 5th in the professional development league 2. Next match is tomorrow vs bottom side Barnsley.

If it is like his last few games, Alex will most likely be subbed into the game in the second half.

He has a habit of coming on the pitch and scoring so his future should be exciting!

The best part is he moved to UK only 2 years ago when he was 14 which makes him much more likely to play for TM.
