Let the emotionnal Iranian fans show themselves again
Naft is a very young and inexperienced side, first time ever in the champions league against Uzbekistan's strongest team, away. They played great and promising football but very unlucky, it obviously wasn't Beiranvand's day. He is a freaking 23 years old keeper, he is obviously not perfect, Alireza Haghighi made 10 times worst blunders in the IPL.
Missing one important player made a difference. He would have been more effective than reazii and another guy.
Beiranvand was obviously in bad shape. go back and see his goal kicks. some would not even cross the field mid line. He looked as if had Maast for breakfast.
Btw Seongnam of Korea lost 2-1 to a Thai club. This is the real level of Korean club football right now, very embarrassing xoxox
People if you can't take a 2-1 loss away of a U23 ACL debutant side, please don't watch Persepolis's game because it might get very ugly![]()
Guys, losing PAG just a few days before this game was a HUGE blow for Naft. He was without a doubt their most influential player in the last few games.
This is obviously not an ideal result, but home filed advantage is called that for a reason. The temperatures were near 0°C which is not different from Tehran, but the humidity there is VERY high - over 85% with the temperature near 0°!!!
Let's face it, this is only the 2nd competitive international game for Naft in their history! Let's give them some time to adjust and get into the competition.
Man I am really worried for Perspolis, I hope they don't embarrass us badly..
One important thing is to gain international experience and we should be happy that the young players of Naft get that experience that they need to serve TM in the future.
