He mentions a friendly with South Africa and Phelesteen but no mention of Araagh!
He who joyfully marches in rank and file has already earned my contempt, for he has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would suffice. Albert Einstein

Throughout history, it has been the inaction of those who could have acted, the indifference of those who should have known better, and the silence of the voice of justice when it mattered most that has made it possible for evil to triumph.

But him and Kaffashian had said many times that the Iraq friendly was for sure
Even fifa calendar and Wikipedia says that as well

I remember they talked about the frindly with Iraq in Australia if I'm not mistaken, but no mention of it by CQ in the above statement.

This S. Africa camp is turning out to be one of the worst decisions in the whole history of TM. It's half way across the world, we don't have any friendlies lined up, and half of our players won't be available. What's the point of subjecting the rest of the boys to these unnecessary and tiring long trips before the cup?!

Why don't they just cancel the damn thing, have a camp in Kish and at least play a couple of friendlies against the Olympic team and maybe an IPL team or a team from UAE / Qatar?! The weather is also similar to Australia. When it comes to be stubborn, it's really hard to top CQ.

Two weeks ago Kafashian invited CQ to Kish to see condition of Camp there as possible alternative.
Kafashian ended up going alone, because CQ did not go along , said Kidney problem.

That's GREAT news. Our offensive fire power is very much dependent on Pouladi coming back and Hajsafi moving into the LAM position. I hope they get this crap sorted out. For the love of god, the whole point of the army is to serve one's country and what better place to do that than a sporting arena.

how do you know what's actually happening, and what CQ's plans are? he's not an idiot, there's a reason he's planning things this way. a million factors go into planning these sorts of camps. none of us know what's really happening...having read a few articles doesn't qualify you to evaluate CQs training camp plans lol, no offense.

Won't it be summer in Australia for the AC?

I think having a camp in South Africa is also unnecessary since it's way too far from Iran and it will make the players exhausted. They will have to travel to South Africa, then back to Iran and finally to Australia for the actual tournament. It would have been a better idea to keep a camp in neighboring countries like Turkey or even inside Iran.

Currently they are having one of their hottest springs in a long time, and it will get hotter. I don't know when their summer begins

Agree. Especially if they are having NO friendlies while staying there! Makes no sense at all. Rather train in Iran, and go to Australia in good time.
