No game with Zim regardless which one ( Ebola, Nabi, CQ) is responsible

    According to IFF, Jamali

based on FIFA rules, the teams have to rest at least three days between any two games in two different continents and duration of their flights have to be no more than five hours, Jamali said.

"After preliminary talks for a friendly game between Iran and Zimbabwe, we sent the required forms to FIFA, seeking their permission when we were told that Zimbabwe had earlier registered another friendly game in Morocco with the country's national team."

Jamali said that Zimbabwe's game against Morocco is scheduled for Nov. 16 and based on FIFA rules it cannot play another friendly against Iran on Nov. 12.

This is how this game came about:

با درخواست کارلوس كی*روش؛زيمبابوه حريف تيم ملی ایران شد

Honestly, if it wasn't for the federation bypassing CQ and booking Korea, we wouldn't even have a game on the 16th. And CQ was even complaining about that game last week!

FIFA regulations aren't shit you find out about as a coach two weeks before game time. These games should have been requested by CQ and arranged in early 2014 or worst case scenario after the world cup when he took a two month vacation. Even now, when our preparations are in total shambles, he's in UAE watching beach football!

Didn't you guys read what our good friend from Sweden said, that he had to beg CQ to accept to play a friendly with Sweden. As soon as he gave the go-ahead, the federation made it happen. This guy's honestly killing TM and I know his first excuse if we fail (zaboonam laal) is going to be that he didn't get the full support of so and so in our preparation!
Why is this even a debate? CQ is being paid by IFF, he is an employee of the IFF...if CQ or IFF screws up it doesn't matter, in the end the federation, it's technical, coaching, and any other employee are to blame. This is poor planning, mismanagement at it's best. Another fail for CQ and his employer.

That may be so Sarbaz jan, but Kenya is a major transport hub in Africa and one should not ignore warnings from major organizations like WHO or the World Bank IMHO.

May be now we come to our senses and play teams like Kuwait and Jordan who may be more relevant to our AC campaign.

Fake, we will never play them.
Iran's only prep match will be against SK, if not cancelled. Be sure of that.

Nabi said there's no possibility of a friendly on 9 Azar between TM and South Africa.

I thought CQ had booked S. Africa for the 16th, that game was 100% confirmed and was the main reason we were holding a camp in S. Africa.

All other games that were on the FIFA calendar between now and the Asian Cup, with the exception of the Korea and Iraq games have been removed! I remember checking those games myself on FIFA.com after reading Houman's article on the front page.

You guys give yourselves a heartattack.

                                1) PFDC user posts a rumor about a friendly
                                2) Everyone gets excited and starts posting formations and squad call ups.
                                3) IFF comes out and says we are in negotiations.
                                4) PFDC user edits wikipedia calendar and adds the friendly game.
                                5) IFF negotiations didn't work out because they do not have a competent international relations associate.
                                6) PFDC users start blaming and cursing the Islamic republic because of what happened 35 years ago.

We have palestine, South Korea, Iraq, and a few friendly games in South Africa confirmed, not to mention who we've already played in Portugal.

I dont know about you guys, but this seems like a good preparation for me. It could be better, but its not bad. I'd rather not show my hand before the tournament like the idiotic Persian Gulf states are doing by playing each other for a meaningless cup.
