AFSHIN GHOTBI OPTIONS TO COACH TEAM MELLI (AFTER THE ASIAN CUP)

IF Iran win the next Asian Cup, of course i hope Carlos Queiroz continues in the team. But if not Win. I think Ghotbi is a good option.

AFSIN GHOTBI LAST JOB IN SHIMIZU S-PULSE(JAPAN)(2011-2014)

    WIN
    68 Games

    Draw
    30 Games

    Lost
    59 Games

I think other Option is Ghotbi return to Persepolis.

Ghotbi should become one of CQ's assistants for TM.

Good Idea. I hope IFF CONTACT Ghotbi in the next days before him sign with any other asian team.

That's a terrible record. Why would you want someone so clearly incompetent to be involved with TM? No thanks.

Both ideas of him being head coach and assistant is outlandish and ridiculous as there is no way either one is possible.

Dr. Doom is not going to like this.

Actually Guus Hiddink just became the headcoach of Holland.

Maybe he will hire Ghotbi as analyst one more time.

This is my most hated thread.

No Daei, no Ghotbi, no Ghalenoei, no Faraki, and no any other Iranian coach for TM. Only CQ.

The only qualified IPL coach for TM is Kranjcar.

                        Read this:

TM lost to Saudi Arabia in 2009. TM lost to Uzbekistan in 2013. After we lost against Uzbek, our status was exactly like 4 years ago. What Ghotbi did? He destroyed our wc 2010. On the other hand CQ won the last 3 games. This should say everything.

                        A. Ghotbi should have never been appointed as TM head coach and should never be close to TM again. End Of Story.

Most definitely not. The Japanese were very kind to him to keep him for 3 years, had he been coaching anywhere else he would have been sacked ages ago.

Now that's a bad comment right there. Ghotbi has a good resume as an assistant coach as well as a head coach, but I believe he will sign for TM as CQ's assistant in the coming days. CQ is always fond of having an outsider sitting in his technical staff, hence we had Namazi (US Citizen) and Aghajanyan (Armenian-Iranian) on the bench. Ghotbi's experience can help create a better atmosphere in Iran, considering his roles as head coach both for PP and TM, his position as South Korea's assistant position cannot go unnoticed as he led them to the semi-finals of the World Cup in 2002. Of course, he isn't better than CQ, but as an assistant he could fit perfectly in CQ's staff. Besides he did win the WAFF tournament, which is something that Namazi and Simoes could not accomplish, even by sending our 'B' team there.
