Iran u22 has not won a single game since our game vs Kuwait back in January, during the AFC u-22 championship.. This team was pretty good under Mansourian in last years tournaments etc.. And why is Sadeghian not called up? Is he suspended from international football too?

Coaching managers assumed game vs Vietnam is kind of preparation warm up for them!!

واقعا من شرم دارم که بگویم امروز چه اتفاقی برای تیم من رخ داد، نه به خاطر باختن. در فوتبال باخت، تساوی و برد وجود دارد،اما آنچه که باعث شرم می شود نحوه باختن ما و اتفاقاتی بود که عامل این شکست سنگین برای ما شد.

The most horrible performance capped by the stupidest move by Khanzadeh at the end. This team does not deserve to play at the asian games let alone the olympics.

We must take into account two things:
1) Many of our young good players are not present, for exemple: Alireza Jahanbakhsh, Sardar Azmoun, Payam Sadeghian, Taha Zareei, Afshin Esmaeilzadeh, Omid Alishah... I not want to said this but players like Saeed Ezz, Mazloum, Hossein or Ali Hazami have space in this team. I think for future Olimpic games, Alireza and Sardar team melli olimpic can have a good team and competitive, and the good news after this bad game is our team not have the team olimpic 100%
2) Iran lost as if Vietnam was Spain U-23 or Portugal U-23. Poorly organized defense, against one of the weakest teams in Asia. Iran had to get humble, with claw can to win this game. Only scored the penalty, and Khanzadeh is like Pepe in final of the game, which shows how the environment is in the team.

Choose the best players of 23 years do not have to necessarily be 23 years, if is not U-19 and U-20 but can have players of 23, i hope is not only this players, because have more young players that are much better than this... For exemple if we choose the best player of Iran under 23 years, maybe Alireza (20) or Sardar (19) win.
Ie, Iran needs to make a team with good routine, consistency and not much regard the years of the players, only choose the best

Embarrassing performance on all fronts - this was one of the worst losses in the history of the U22/U23 TM. Kudos to Vietnam for believing in themselves and playing like they could win it against all odds.

And here is a non-vatani coach with a very impressive resume, particularly coaching U-20 and Olympic teams - with absolutely no comparison to our own vatani coach, Mansourian. This just goes to show that what's important is not where you're from or how impressive your resume is, but how you perform at your job NOW and what results you can get.

But this is not the tournament that will serve as 2016 Olympic qualifiers (right?), and I doubt that many of the players on this U22 team will make the squad next years U22 championship.

khanzadeh should not play anymore in TM at least for 2 years. He was really bad first fo all but then 2 red cards at end, wtf it was not enough with 1 red card he had to get 2?!

we have no football but we have a lot of other sports such as volleyball if your interested to follow without a heart attack or break..lets wake up to the truth already and not expect much from our football in every levels specially youth please. Our youth care more for the hair style than running as football is a running sport not for walking for sure. and you use your legs and your head by the way.

our players play exactly like our senior but worse. they have no idea how to start an attack and always pass in the back with no freaking idea what is an attacking plan and want to send long balls and waiting to get lucky. They have their heads in their butts when they look for each other and almost never find each other. I have never seen a player approaching another to get the pass from the person who has possesion and thei almost never happens because we want the cake in our mouths and no where else he4nce our passes suck.
