    Kwon Jun passes Persepolis medical

TEHRAN TIMES - TEHRAN, South Korean Kwon Jun passed his medical with Persepolis football team on Tuesday.

The 24-year-old defensive midfielder underwent medical tests with the club.

Jun started his career with Brazilian football team Figueirense in 2006. He joined PSM Makassar of Indonesia in 2011.

Kwon Jun graduated from Dangseo elementary school in Seoul and went off to Brazil to training in Oscar Soccer Academy. In 2006, he formally made a pro-contract with the Figueirense Football Club in Brazil premier league as the first Korean player.

Also, in 2006, he played for U-20 South Korea team.

After Roberto Sousa was sidelined with ligament injury, the team’s officials are going to replace Kwon Jun with the Brazilian.

Aside from alphabet there are many words common between farsi and Korean. The new PP player should feel better about language after learning that they are almost the same.

hana yek 1 this one not similar
    dul do 2

    seth seh 3

    Madang Meidan field court
    Mori moo hair
Olmaye yi yo how much is the price ( this is from Kurdish part o the country)
Doreh ha da dowr bezan turn around
igo injo (used in shahrestaan va dehaat) or injaa as said in tehran by tehranis (here)
Agaasi Agha Mr. (They use Agha-shi for lady)
    momek ha da khafeh kardan
    Moghora mikhorad (eats)
    da li da davidan running
abaa ( from Arabic origin and not Peersian for father)
Omma (mother, also from Arabic origin)
ko-sa goosheh corner may mean same

ca da card, (carte zard , sabz, sorkh, etc, or credit card)

gonjak seh is a big bird but really comes from Gonjeshk ( chinese say Macheh and we say Malooch sometimes)
I probably can find more if I refresh my memory.

Now going back to Football (sorry it is not soccer )
The korean player will run fast and will give the opponent a hard time. That is what PP needs, A fast player in mid field who can handle counter attacks and runs like a samurai (oh never mind he is korean)

Interesting you bring this up. The Pan-Turkic (Pan-Tourani) nuts claim that Koreans (as well as Japanees) are from the Turkic (Tourani) race and their language has roots in Turkish. Your discovery would certainly be disappointing to Turkic nuts like Heydarov.

If he would have done anything more football related than that, he would not have ended in IPL

    The video looked good.
He is pretty tall for PGL standards and seemed very physical against small Indonesians!
It'll be interesting to see how he fairs in PGL.

Just hope PP comes out of this crisis, it makes PGL so boring!

I'm all for foreign players in IPL. They open the door for future foreign talent who want to come to Iran zamin. Looking forward to watching this kid contribute to PP.

When our vatani players are so lazy, then we have no choice but to look forward to foreign players to bring PP to life!
    Pretty sad!
Maybe the requirement should limited linguistic skills, so that they don't get corrupted by hanging out with some of PP players!
