Right! We're interested in Malavan's Moldovan keeper because...? He plays for TM? Or is he deemed to be Iran's best keeper?
And what's the point of asking for an alternative? Why can't we just discuss Rahmati's performance and his more than obvious weakness? What are you defending here really anyway?

You started analyzing the Moldovan keeper from two-minute highlights. That's as useful as the constant TM training photo analysis with judgement of how much players are laughing during warm-up.
If your information is based on such sources, then I won't waste my time on you anymore anyways. And no, you don't need to name an alternative, we will just play without any keeper from now on - just because you don't know an answer to a question you invented. Omg...
Are there any other goalkeepers outside of Iran other than Haghighi and that 2nd Bundesliga German keeper of Persian descent?
Haghighi
Rahmani-Dehnavi-Ansari-Papi
Khalatbari-Karimi
Ansarifard-Borhani
Rafkhaei-Seyed Salehi
Substitutions: Rahmati, Ahmadi, Razaghirad, Nouri, Shojaei, Petrovic, Daghighi, Abdi, Hatami

Why are people getting so offended when Martin-Reza jan is just asking you to name a better goalkeeper then Rahmati?
He is admitting Rahmati's mistakes whenever they ACTUALLY ARE mistakes, while everyone else is on the verge of killing themselves over any goal that ends up in the back of Rahmati's net.
Let's say Rahmati sucks!
Just because he does, it doesn't mean that we automatically have better options!
Gordan is soorakh, Haghighi is a benchwarmer, Lakk is too unexperienced, Ahmadi had the year of his life last year with Iran's best club and is 32 (for those of you who loves the age excuse and are worried about Neko and Karimi being 31/33), Forouzan is good but not good enough, etc, etc, etc...
Mirzapour anyone? How about Roudbarian?

I don't know about anybody getting offending , except Martin Reza himslef perhaps, but him asking that question is completely OFF TOPIC and itrelevent to the discussion. If you read the title of this thread , is says " What's going on with Rahmati?" it did not say "Who is the best Goalkeeper in Iran" or "Who should we replace Rahmati with for the Lebanon match".
By the way , if you , me or MR said or admitted THEY ARE MISTAKES , this is just a personal opinion of ours. No one here should be under the grand illusion that he or she is the World Renowned Expert in Iranian football. So , let us understand what and who we are , first. People have the right to express their opinions , but they are JUST opinions.

^ It's just another discussion point and is very valid and important.
This thread is about Rahmati. If you were to limit the content of every thread to its title, then 95% of PFDC threads contain discussions that are off-topic.
However, if you still stick to the claim that asking "who should replace Rahmati" is irrelevant (which I respect but still disagree with), then I would be more than happy to open a thread designed specifically for this.![]()

^ My point was that a majority of posts aren't exactly 100% responding to the title of a thread, but in every thread there are many sub-topics brought up in the same topic.
For example, this thread is mainly about "what's going on with Rahmati" but I don't see why it's not ok to discuss who could potentially replace him if he is performing so poorly and underserving of TM #1?

I think to sum it up, and stay on topic, the consensus of the forum is that there arent enough problems with rahmati to replace him with haghighi or anyone else. The problems he's been having can all be coached and this is why we have warm up games. He has also allowed no goals (knock on wood) in the two wcq matches with uzb and qat.

... ok, so now that we've collectively figured out rahmati's issues, let's move on to the next topic ---> "what's wrong with neko or karimi".
who is gonna start that thread?!?![]()
