Iran to play Tunisia on Aug.15 th

Even though Tunisia is a good team, I would say a 1-1 . Because Iran always plays good againsgt North and any African teams. If it was in Iran, I would say a 1-0 but in Budapest, I say either a 1-1 (90%) or a low margin loss (9%) and a one percent chance to win Either way, it will be a very tough close match.

A friendly against Tunesia would be the toughest opponent for Team Melli under Carlos Queiroz' management. I'm glad it's a quality side, but I'm afraid TM is still not ready yet. But the outcome of this friendly can show what our dear Carlos has really made so far.

Besides, we couldn't beat Albania with their B team, we had our stars Nekounam and Ando starting.

the latest news reported by isna,mehr and fars news all say that the match vs.Tunisia will be on Aug.13 th due to thier rquest but no contract has been signed yet !!

Released today; According to IFF August 15th is the only day that CQ can have all TM players against Tunisia, because its FIFA day. Plus TM well have a camp in Hungary a week before the game with Tunisia.

مدیر رسانه ای تیم ملی فوتبال ایران گفت: تیم ملی ایران در اردوی مجارستان فقط در روز 25 مرداد با تیم ملی تونس روبرو خواهد شد.

خسرو والی زاده در این خصوص به سایت رسمی فدراسیون گفت: براساس نظر کارلوس کی روش سرمربی تیم ملی ایران، اخبار منتشره درباره اینکه دیدار تیم های ملی ایران و تونس در مجارستان ممکن است در تاریخی بجز 25 مرداد برگزار شود، مورد تایید نیست زیرا بجز روز 15 اگوست (25 مرداد) که روز فیفا است، ما نمی توانیم کلیه بازیکنان خود را دراختیار داشته باشیم.
وی افزود: کی روش می خواهد با کلیه بازیکنان ملی پوش خود یک دیدار دوستانه برگزار کند، بدین لحاظ اگر ایران بپذیرد که بطور مثال روز 13 اگوست (23 مرداد) با تونس بازی کند برای ما مناسب نیست زیرا نمی توانیم بازیکنانی را که در خارج از کشور داریم، دراختیار داشته باشیم. بدین ترتیب هر تاریخ دیگری بجز 25 مرداد مورد قبول ما نخواهد بود.
تیم ملی فوتبال ایران قرار است از تاریخ 19 تا 25 مرداد، اردوی یک هفته ای را در کشور مجارستان برپا کند.

The Iranian Football Federation (FFIRI) are in talks with Tunisia regarding a proposed August 13 friendly between the two nations to be held in Hungary.

Iran coach Carlos Queiroz will hold a one-week camp in Hungary during August and is hoping to organise quality opposition to play during the get-together.

"The negotiations are ongoing but the contract has not yet been signed," the FFIRI vice-president Mohammad-Hadi Ayatollahi told The Tehran Times. According to reports, Tunisia boss Sami Trabelsi has approved the fixture.

Team Melli, who have four points from their opening two final round 2014 World Cup qualifiers, next face Lebanon away in qualifying on September 11.

Iran faced African opposition earlier this year, recording 3-0 and 2-0 wins respectively over Mozambique and Mauritius, while they are also scheduled to take on Syria and North Korea in friendlies later this year.

Tunisia are due to face Sierra Leone in 2013 African Cup of Nations qualifying in early September.
