^^ They also lost to KSA (WC10) and Jordan (WC06) in Azadi.

I miss Ali Daei so damn much in TM.....

With all due respect TM players should be professionals and play the same whether its infront of 10000 or 100000! Pathetic excuse for them because there is always an excuse. A part of me feels that the entire Iranian football community and indeed TM itself (along with IFF) are brilliant at making the excuses for this and that. Simple fact is that this is a 2nd rate Asian side with a terrific coach, useless IFF. All this added to the fact that AFC will do everything to get Qatar in a WC before their turn at hosting, means that TM needs to learn to WIN and play to WIN! Im still confident of TM getting through although I dont want to see them getting smashed 4-0 at the WC!
I think its pathetic that we are the only nation on EARTH that has another language on our flag. Down with the Islamic Arab Republic of Iran!!

look at the line up and compare with the team today. that team will beat our current team by 4 goals.

I'm confident this will happen. The weather will not be an issue because Iran also reaches that temperature and in honesty, the Qataris are not immune to it either. We need pick up as many points before that game however.A win against Lebanon and points against South Korea are essential. 2-3 players we can handle. Karimi was dribbling them, Teimourian overpowering them. We just need to pull them out of their half and we will win. Remember an Arab team that is losing to us, is doomed if we keep attacking.

no excuses its just a fact not all TM players are true professions, maybe 3-5 at most. Most of the fans even here were looking for a 3-0 or better result against Qatar. With the added pressure from Iranian Media TM feels much more pressure to win and that affect their game plans significantly, like it or not. The lake of Iranian Media and 100000 fans is actually a relief for TM and at minimum perform better work harder in away games. This fact is directly communicated to me by some of the past TM players. As much as they loved to play in Azadi full of fans yet the pressure is immense and that affect there game which cause them to play nerves. All the Arab opponents needs to do is camp in front of their goal and play with anti-soccer mind set. We hope a coach like CQ helps TM to play more professional and overcome some of the psychological effect they endure.
