Ok that would be acceptable if they jailed your parents. But my mother cant go to Iran, and if she goes she will be jailed too. But from the first day in ghorbat she never let us forget that we are iranian and she would get very disappointed if we choose another country above Iran.

^ KC jaan, I think you need to take into account one thing, and that is peoples' personal freedoms. Everyone should be provided full information (pros and cons) on the issues surrounding inter-racial marriages, and be able to decide what works best for them. In effect this can be a means for countries enhancing their citizens' prosperity by admitting the best "candidates" into their societies. One thing I noticed about the Brazilians, they all have great natural teeth. It points to the fact that somewhere way up the line, their ancestors must have been selected from among the natives and immigrants who had such genes to pass them on. Or think about the Japanese becoming taller by marrying off caucasians on a consistent basis. There are other examples too.

I'm not saying it should be illegal to change nationalities, however, if you are representing a country you should have your roots in it with a bloodline that can be traced back to show it. It's ridiculous for example for someone who is dark skinned and speaks with a thick Indian accent to represent the US national team when he is clearly from India.

Thank you for your input. What you have highlighted above wasn't a scientific fact for science to be able to prove it wrong as you claim but rather just my opinion on the non-scientific topic.
Let's pray together that someday TM fields 11 naturalized Japanese players who have lived in Iran for a long time.

...but I do see where he is coming from. These teams are no longer dominated by their native peoples. As with the global community, immigration is showing itself in national teams. However, you cannot doubt these players' allegiances. If they cared about their ancestral country more than their home country, they would've played for them.

If you feel so strongly about this, why don't you move back to Iran?
