I have this Croatian roommate. I read him some of the posts sometimes and he rolls on the floor laughing

We are by some exceptions One of the most emotional and moodiest fans in the world.

Well when I used to play for PP, our coach always told us "Never play for people.....play for yourself. If you play for people, they will murder you if you lose and make a champion when you win". He was right, we talk as if we know what's going on in the field. I just hope they learn from their mistakes, make proper adjustment and win the real games. I personaly know Omid Namazi and we used to play in the same team, I know he is really pissed off right now since he doesn't like losing at all. I feel sorry for the team because I know as I'm writting this, he is screaming at them.

Guys take it easy. This was just a friendly and the result doesn´t matter. The most important thing is to have our weakness exposed so CQ knows what he has to work on. Germany lost to crappy Switzerland, so what. They are still in good shape to win Euro2012.

We actually played well during 2nd half and the goal was totally against the run of the game. I was a bit disappointed in Haghighi. In my opinion, he was too slow on the goal and should have cleared that one.

But take it easy people. I am sure Iran will perform much better against Uzbekistan. In a friendly like this, CQ wouldn´t expose his gameplan and strategy ahead of the crucial WC qualifier against UZbekistan.

I would much rather lose this friendly and have our problems solved so we can win the qualifier in a week than winning this friendly and think everything is peachy and then lose the important match on sunday.

Do you know what's funny.. I'm watching this charity match, England Veterans and Celebrities vs Rest of the World and people like Will Ferrell, Gordon Ramsey and Gerard Butler are playing better football then we did against Albania mwahaha although they do have Jaap Stam, Seedorf and Ljunberg on their team LOL

^^ I suppose he's really just there to be tested in training and maybe against Besiktas. CQ doesn't really seem to plan with him for now, but probably sees him as potential future TM player.

Is the friendly with Besiktas still on? I thought that was supposed to be held earler than Albania game, so I assumed it got called off.
