Very hard to say anything before you see the guy play football.

Not necessarily about O. Nazari, but I do find it curious that CQ would invite a MF when that is our overwhelming strength and neglect Gucci when we are in need of attacking options especially with Dejagah having a knock. Hopefully that means that CQ saw something in Omid Nazari that he could not pass up or wait on.

This is what I said about him in the other thread :

To be honest, I have a feeling this guy is just glory hunter, he does not really wanna play for TM, he wants to play for Sweden, but since he lacks the quality, he sees that he can join TM and go to WC and get better contracts from there. I would not compare this guy with Ashkan at all, Dejagah showed all his gheyrat in that one game but I'm not liking this guy so far from these interviews.

Remember this, dont judge one player after only 1 game. people can have bad days to.

and dont make him in to a hero if he scores a goal.

if he does shine even half as good as Dejagha did in his debut, then that would really send a interesting message about the real quality of our domestic talents vs euro based with the obvious better fundamental skills and more professional football upbringing..!!

i have a hard time telling which one is which in this vid ..?? but for a young kids they do show excellent poise and awareness vs some of the most intimidating, physical, established euro mf stars..!! in the vid he? seems to be pretty strong on the ball and hold possession quite well, although he seems way too slow on releasing the ball and finding the open guy..!!??

either CQ didnt rate him much..!!?? or he is playing hard to get and not sure about accepting a camp call up offer..!! or his return to iran and passport issues are rather complicated like dejaghas and it will take a long while to get through.!!?? wtf..??

i think he wants to play for TM because he wants to play in the world cup and earn himself a big move. Don't think he's really doing it for Iran.
