I havent said anything of the sort, and if you think that then you havent got the gist of what Im saying. I refer to my previous post where I have said I regard TM much higher than clubs. Heck, actually read the very post you are quoting
Where I said:
"but would just like to stress again that I actually want ACL players to accompany TM now."
So if by "club-lover", you are referring to me, then you couldnt possibly be more wrong.

The problem is that the 10 players from the ACL teams includes 6-7 possible starters. CQ has a right to be upset and the clubs have a right to keep their players. The blame, as always, falls on the corrupt and incompetent machine that is the AFC.
But on the bright side, Uzbekistan is not going to open camp until the 22nd. Plus it is likely that Shatskikh, their legendary forward, is going to miss the game because he is sick.
We have our work cut out for us. Uzbekistan is no joke. A tie would be a great result.

Please don't take me wrong. I love CQ and respect his decisions. However, I think he's asking for too much just a few days before the games are all going to rest for a long time.
IMO he is really smart. He may have these goals for such interview:
A- Found an opportunity to find the best excuse in case if Iran failed to shine in first games.
B- He has found very young talented players and this is the best time to bench the old Persepolis and ESTEGHLAL players![]()
Nevertheless, I respect our smart coach. But he should also know we all know that:
1- it's good AFC agreed to schedule the ACL 1/8th one week earlier because after that the team is at his service![]()
2- All qualified countries in Asia have the exact same situation.
3- These games are the best practice for our players. Just see how our players have been performing lately. Rahmati has been back to his great form. Our defense players like Mahini and Bengar are scoring. Pooladi is excellent. In this lack of friendly games we were lucky to have ACL to get some real practice.
Now since our smart coach being million times better in his job, as a pro coach he knows all above facts. Therefore my A & B assumptions might be right.
He is absolutely right about AFC's sloppy management and scheduling but this is known to all and all Asian countries except LEBONNON IN OUR GROUP are suffering from it.

fussy fussy Carlos.

I wasnt referring to you dude but the other club lovers who put clubs higher on their list than the national team. It is just the stupid Iranian mentality again ''Khodam'' ''Hamash baraye manafe khodam va doostanemoon'' which put our national football interests in danger. Clubs shouldnt be so selfish and release the players to the National team. Irans name is at stake here

Think it would be interesting to create a poll on this issue and see what most of the people around here prefer. Disregarding any sampling error, we can extrapolate the results and see what the majority of the public want. I would except i'm not an expert on making polls![]()

Regarding A: It would be very stupid of IFF to give him that excuse after paying him so much for the sole mission of taking TM to WQ, plus CQ does not want to damage his international reputation by losing to likes of qatar and Uzbacks.
Regarding B: A smart coach does not bench all his stars to test new talents with minimal international experiance in such important matches.
Regarding 1: We all know that Saudis are already elimenated from WQ competitions, so the timing of these games are perfect for them as other clubs might give their players to their national teams.
Regarding 3: A smart coach would rather have all his players in his training camps to have enough time for physical conditioning and implimenting his tactics, specialy iranian players that lack both of them, plus avoiding injuries during ACL competitions.
In case of s.korea, japan and Australia, these ACL games do not effect them as much since a number of their players are playing abroad or they are not limited to one or two clubs.
CQ knows more than anyone in this forum and probably all of Iran the situation of our football, therfore is worried and wants to have the best preparation possible.
our clubs failing in ACL would not be remembered as harsh as our failure to qualify for the WQ, and will damage our international reputation 100 time more.

i really dont see the problem with afc scheduling:S how should afc know that TM has a training camp one month before WCQ ? idk why cq keeps complaining, whining, and blaming others. sometimes hes right to complain, but other times he whines for no purpose and speaks unreasonably

The game is 10 days before our first WCQ game, not a month before. I don't know the man, but i doubt one of his hobbies is to whine. People who blame others and whine don't get the international recognition Queiroz has. Should he have the final say over every decision made in our football, no, but does he deserve to have a large part of the input, most certainly.
