I agree with PersianEagle on this, Iranian players are technical players who rely on skill, finesse, touch while Germans are mostly a mixture of technically strong but also physically strong players along with great pace and speed. Ideally, the Spanish or Italian league would fit Iranian players better because those leagues are not as fast-paced and most technical than anything. However, Iran and Germany have good political relationships and so there was a period in time, where German teams were looking for Iranian players a lot, especially after the success of the likes of Daei, Kia, Hashemian. For example, Karimi would have been much better suited to play in the La Liga, and would have played in Europe for a much longer time like Nekounam and Shojaei because his style of play fits it more.

Now for Ansarifard, I think the biggest thing for him is to go to Europe and play for any semi-decent team. Because once he is Europe and gets proper exposure, he will no doubt be signed by bigger clubs after a year or two. But staying in Saipa will do him no good, as he is losing precious years of his football, where he could be developing in Europe.

I don't understand why iranian players are so hesitant to go to Europe. Even if they failed badly, there will always be an IPL (or even UAE/Qatari) clubs that will be after them after a spell in Europe.

Agha Masoud, I don't know what's is so funny, but may I ask what you think are the best qualities of Iranian players? Obviously, Iranians are not the best skilled, finesse, touch players, but these qualities are the best qualities of the top Iranian footballers like Karimi, Daei, Hashemian, Kia, Shojaei, Nekounam and all the other players who have made it to Europe.

LOL I'm not related to footballcrazy and I don't agree with that that opinion. I actually think Enayati was/is a very over-rated player who only scored "morde khori" goals and did not have the right attitude, and therefore never got to any position in TM.
