Very logical and not really a newsflash to most, however, there are still some people who don't want to get it and think Germany, Spain & Co. would seriously want to play us. I hope they read this.

So the coaches really failed. So not a good idea to put down the team. The same team in Asian Cup got 9 points in group and its wings were clipped like a bird against korea so that korea would go to final. I'm not arguing for the motivation/ rationale behind it.
GN did not pull a wing player even though he was offside more than 6 times.

aside from this Sr. Querosh should know by now that:
    1. IPL games and coaches are very demanding and they cause a lot of injuries to greatest players and diminish their Performance from top to medium compared to Spaniards or Portuguese, Example: Navidkia
    2. In IPL the coaches and players (some) act foolishly and cause injuries as if they are at war while Koreans take it easy in their internal competations
    3. The distance from Tabriz to Bushehr or Kerman is a lot longer than the distance between Seoul and Pusan, so Koreans do not wear out travelling back and forth. they can fly between the farthest points in 45 minutes or get there by train in just 4 hours.
    4. IFF does not have rules or requirements from club to ensure they safegusrd the playeers that are key for TM.
    5. The coaches like Mazloomi rather than using tactics and brains of the players allows them to get easily injured because team skill and passing is ignored while dribbling and tackling and individual effort is promoted.
The U23 team that had Kaebi Borhani and Navidkia was a lot better than Koreans and the Japanese so we have to go back and see why none of them is part of TM now. Koreans lose a game to another town , and then shake hands and go back to life and coaches do not get on 90 to justify a poor performance or blaming players. This allows Korean players to be calm and learn from their mistakes rather than worrying about the next game and sitting on the bench if not trying hard enough at any cost.

So great players exist. They need to be protected by IPL coaches and not made to be gladiators to win a trophy or reach the top level.
They should think about a clean great performance that may have also a good result and not just getting a win with some casualties caused to own team or the opponent.
One last thing: The players such as Khalatbari and Aghili rather than going to better teams to get developed, they go to the south of Persian Gulf and they either get injured or do not improve and then hurt TM by their lack of progress. In that case even Sr. Queiroz cannot help them because they are hired by outsiders who know less and care less about their future.
When we play against them it doesn't seem like we're that far away from them, but at an individual level of players they're WAY AHEAD of us.
We're Iran, the most football loving nation in entire Asia, we have way more kids than them playing everyday in the streets, dreaming to become on of the best and write history in football.
Why we do not deliver results like they do have many reasons, but the biggest one is the Islamic republic, once we'll get rid of the IR we will do much better. When we have a regime that cares about football, investigates money in to it and takes care of our young players like they do in Europe.
Right now IMO one of the biggest problems are that there are not enough football pitches in Iran, imagine if all the youngsters could play on a pitch from a young age, we would've been at a way better level than we are right now.
We always deliver some of the most promising players in Asia, the best young talents and the ones who people have the biggest expectaion for. Like Hajsafi, Ansarifard, Afshin and some more. But they fail to do great because in Iran your possibilites are limited, they do not get the world class training they need in their clubs. Right now we're falling way behind, we're begging a striker from a weak European club to join TM (not saying he's not good, he's really good for Asian standards.) While Japan has 20 year old Strikers in Arsenal and in a lot of other very good European teams, same goes for South Korea. The reason for our success against these teams between 98-06 was simply because of our wonderful squad we had back then, those players managed to deliver results because they had talent, they didn't recieve the right training. They had talent, they grew up with gheyrat during the Iran-Iraq war. We had a squad with a lot of players in Europe such as Daei, Azizi, Karimi, Rezaei, Mahdavikia, Nekounam and Hashemian, that was a super squad! Dameshon garm . Such players who are at that level without growing up in a proffesional enviroment is the kind of players we see in Iran once or twice every decade. The Koreans and Japanese are working their asses of to get where they are while our players are being trained by coaches who are barely qualified to train girl teams in Europe, they'll get no where like this unless they're very talented and world class. I just start laughing my ass of when I see our current squad, who the f*ck is Pejman Nouri and what is he doing on the pitch, not only what is he doing on the pitch but what the f*ck is he doing wearing the captains armband? Some of the misses such as the one against the open net and Ghazis 1v1 and the penalty by our almighty captain are misses that me who's not playing at a proffesional level would never miss
Delemon khoshe mikhaim betonim be Japan va South Korea beresim, those teams are even passing by a lot of European teams.
Right now i'd say Ansarifard is our best forward and we should keep starting him so he gets the international experience he needs before we go to the world cup(if we'll go to the world cup), he might not be that much right now but if he makes it to an European team he could blossom in to a very promising player.

The only chance we will have at playing big name teams is if they take us as a warm-up team to boost their own morale. Score 7-8 goals against us.

TM should look like, act like and play like Sepahan.
One can take Sepahan and only replace (when possible) the foreign players and then call it TM. That would be a team that would be equal to if not better than Japan.
Let's figure out who can replace those foreign based palyers. If they do not exist yet, then we know what kind of work and how much work we have to do.

Neither SK or Japan is at the level of top EU teams. But these two countries are very rich and any game with them would raise significant TV and other advertising revenues. SK and Japan NT's and anyone who plays them shares some of that revenue.

The same goes for USA. US team is not that good but everyone in the world likes to play them just because of TV revenues.

Iran on the other hand .....

Japan and SK NT also pay for tourneys so they meet both requirements
