I said this in the other thread too, IMO Karimi is just doing "bazaar garmi" by bringing up Al-Ahli so that PP make sure to hold on to him for next season, he is their most important player, hands down.

IRIB makes over 50 - 60 billion toman a year off IPL games. these figures are from the MPs who tried very hard to force Seda va Seema to pay IPL teams TV rights fee. most of that money IRIB makes comes off the games of these two teams. .......
    no. not necessarily.
the case is more like irib insisting on showing ONLY these two soosool teams ... even while there are more exciting, important and competitive games going on elsewhere! irib will have as much ad revenue if they tried showing important traktorsazi or sepahan or ... games too.
so it's actually the other way 'round. pp and ss get undue and undeserved attention ..which only helps them gain new fans all over Iran becoz all the focus and attention of the TV, radio and print media is on them!!! so it's more like irib helping out pp and ss, rather than ss and pp helping generate revenues for irib. yes, they do, but certainly and definitely not nearly to the amount we all think so

lol bro., Karimi is the very LAST one in the team that needs to do "bazaar garmi". What Karimi did this season was way more enough to make Perspolis sure to hold him.

I've also heard that Edinho has offered mes kerman $2 million, and there has been some negotiation going on!

pouladi has offers from bundelisa teams!

Amir Hosseini Sadeghi leaving Tractor .

Foneke Sy has offers from PP , but i think he has already signed with ajman although there is no official news about that!

    Reza Enayati Moving To Esteghlal
    1 + 3 + 3 + 1 Sepahan = Asghar Farhadi = Esfahan

IRIB, like anyone else, wants to make money off their broadcast. The Fact is that There are far more fans interested in Perspolis and SS than any other team. Where was Teraktur 4 years ago? Where was Sepahan 10 years ago? perspolis and Esteghlal are and have been the faces of Iranian football for 5 decades and counting. They have huge fan base all over Iran. You and I know that. Fans know that. IRIB knows that too.

As passionate as Teraktur fans are in Tabriz, how many people do you think follow Teraktur in Isfehan, Shiraz, Kerman, Khuzestan, Ilaam, Mashhad, Kermanshah..etc ? There is not a single village in Iran that you wouldn't find either a red or blue fan, as long as there is a TV and a Red or Blue game on, someone is watching it.

again, this is not about quality of football in game like Sepahan Vs Mess Kerman, it's about how many people are watching it. that's how TV networks select their programs. Money (viewer count) is the key.

Sepahan, after 50 years of history, in their own city, they can't draw more than 2 or 3k people to their stadium. Perspolis brings 90k in the middle of the week in that stupid traffic jam of Tehran-Karaj freeway even though they have been out of title contention for a long time!!! this is not something that you have to read in the papers, you can see it for yourself. Just find a video of a recent sephan IPL game (or even ACL) in Isfahan and see for yourself. and that's a team that has won 2 IPL titles and was leading the table to win a third!! it's unbelievable how pathetic sepahan and Zob Ahan's fan base are after all these years and after all the success they have had recently. So when these teams can't sell out a 10K stadium in their own city, you expect IRIB to allocated 2 hours of air time to them?? Would NBC do that?

Look, If You don't like SS or Perspolis, that's fine. If You think they get favors, that's your right. But Numbers don't lie. I can not overstate the importance of fan base. Zob and Sepahan would have been moved out of Isfahan if these teams were privately owned and if our league was private. Look at it from a business sense, you have a private football club in a city of many millions, and after 50 years (and a lot of recent success) all you have to show for, is a few thousand fans that come to your team's games. I think that is a failure in every sense of the business. IRIB won't make that mistake, because all that they are interested in is ratings, and rightfully so.

Lol 10 years ago in IPL2002 sepahan won the cup! Sepahan always had and has their fans! Its just the way that the media forces people to rather choose SS or PP . I can assure you that If The Media didn't show all this attention to SS and PP in the past few years, their fans would've been just like other teams!
Teams like Malavan , Sanat Naft (birth place of football in iran),Tractor, Fajr Sepasi ,Aboomoslem, Barch Shiraz , Foolad , Have their own fans!

Don't forget the fact that majority of SS and PP fans support other teams specially their home team. They support their home team first if its a match against SS or PP.
So please stop all that nonsense!

Ps: Sepahan Was Establishment 1944 where as Perspolis was established 1963! and Esteghlal 1945!
