I actually remember playing against Dan Gasper's team in college freshmen year... I was on the bench for Fairfield University and we played the Univ of Hartford in a pre-season friendly. Ahh I miss college

Very good interview, thanks for posting I'm glad they know our strengths and weaknesses. And what a class act this guy is. I'm very confident with these coaches.

    And it's not Eye-RAN, It's EEE-RON! Lol.

Jimmy was a hard-ass center back/Captain for KC WIZARDS, for years and suddenly age caught up with him and got played out real quick a couple of years ago so we traded his sorry asss..! I guess he gave up playing and now trying his hand at media..!! lol
That was really good interview from Dan..! damesh garm..! He was spot on in his assessment of shortcomings of Iranian players..!!!

    Thanks for the video....

    1- Tactical weaknesses
    2- Emotional weaknesses
    3- Physical weanesses
.....................................out of all of the above, only physical weaknesses can be fixed...the other two needs another twenty years, and pure professional league...

Jimmy Conrad was a young rising star on the San Jose Earthquakes back in the day, and a teammate of Khodadad Azizi during his 1 season in MLS. I was in the Earthquakes locker room after a game one time, as I had press passes to cover them for PFDC that season thanks to our own webmaster Kamran, and I remember Conrad joking around with me about how much Azizi resembled Jackie Chan. He was a cool guy and those 2 got a long pretty well.

The thing that really stands out to me in that interview, and gives me hope we can do well in WC, is how aware he is of our fitness problem. Not convinced our previous vatani coaches gave this a second of thought!
Also very reassuring how he says they have worked out fitness program, to get the players more up to par with international teams so that we can truly compete in the World Cup.

Very true about our players being overly emotional. This can have negative impact on a game. All these factors that may seem more or less insignificant to Iranian coaches are taken into account by this coaching team. Things are looking very promising.

Also a good thing, is the fact that he is not only talking about qualifying to WC but qualifying as group winners!

This is a winning mentality. Korea bring it on!! We dont fear you. Azadi will be hell this time, especially now that Korea does not have that annoying little midget Park Ji Sung to save their a**es
