IPL Should Downgrade to 16 Teams

IPL teams like Mes Sarcheshmeh and Shardari do not have enough quality. Plus, with IPL, Hazfi, ACL Asian Cup, Maah Ramezoon, WC Qualification there i just not enough time to squeeze in enough games and when we do force the schedule the result is devastating for our football: poor results, increased costs and mounting injuries.

Reducing IPL by 4 games will certainly relive some pressure and help our international tournies like ACL and WC Qual.

Now that Kaffashian has decided to be independent of the sports ministry, it is time that he makes this decision to remove what was enforced by the government.

18 is just fine. 20 teams is too much. 16, which also was CQ's proposal, would be acceptable though too.

I think 16 would be better for all involved in Iranian football. It would help concentrate the talent in those 16 teams and thus increase the quality of the IPL in international competitions (ACL). In turn that improved quality/success etc, likely means more money and increased infrastructure for those top teams. It will take a few years for the eventual results to be seen, but I think it would be a step in the right direction.

no, but if they has norouz like us, they'd be off for 2 weeks 4 sure!
