I hope he recovers soon as well, but I disagree that TM needs him, maybe on the bench, but that's about it..
    TM needs a solid RB.

It's a broken foot. It's a very hard injury to heal because of the small bones and level of impact on the foot, which is why he has required so many surgeries. The good news is, because it is not a knee or ankle, it likely won't negatively affect things like pace or technical ability meaning that his rehab will be mainly focused on getting in shape and stronger.

He broke it first, the infection was the result of one of the surgeries if I'm not mistaken.

since when is Shojaie a RB?
He is a offensive midfielder. And an average one at that.

He is only 27 guys and will just be 28 on his return. Nekounam had a similar injury a few years ago (out for a year when he was 27 too), and look at him now. Just because people have this idea that Shojaei is not good, doesn't mean he cannot come back and play well. He scored many important goals for TM and does not get his due. He scored our goals against Saudis and South Korea in 2010 WCQ, but I think he is blamed for those disappointing game results. He is a good player and will come back. I can't say better than ever, but I am optimistic. He has good playing style. A very technical player, with a little refining he could be great. Better than Ansarifard at least, he can score in high pressure (or any pressure) situations lol.
