WOOHOOOO so happy to have him represent us in England. His hard work and dedication has paid off and he’s now one step closer to playing at a top level team. In 2 years we may see him at Chelsea that’ll be a dream come true for me haha

I’m so excited! The first time I won’t be canceling cable after the World Cup because of news like these :D
Congrats to him, really happy for him. I hope he scores a hat trick against Liverpool but then lose 5-3 :)
Can we expect to see him debut against Watford? And is that game not gonna have any broadcast shown?
Mate ur spot on but lemme tell u a few things about myself:
1) Im american. We dont follow soccer religiously. NFL (American Football) is my 1st sport.
2) Iranian Football ALWAYS comes before club for me.
3) I have been an Arsenal Supporter since I first started watching soccer, and they remain one of my favorite teams, but with ARJ in the prem, I have no choice but to support Brighton 1st.
Small number in the corner of my tv, JB in for £17M
Apologies if mentioned earlier!
JB should open the door for Other to Persian signings 👊🏼
I am planning on attending the Brighton vs. West Ham game in Brighton on October 6. If anyone is interested in joining please let me know. If there is a special thread or forum for this kind of stuff let me know as well.
I have been a United fan since 2006 and Brighton play United on the 11th of august, second week of the Prem League. I want Alireza to start and win the game for Brighton! There’s plenty of other games United can win/lose and finish above arsenal
I can not contain my excitement! My client is in London, need to come up with a good reason for them to fly me in just to attend a Brighton game and watch AJ make history :)
i see 193k followers now
First match vs. Watford
Second match vs. Man U
...
Ohh boy, the excitement is undeniable.
I wonder how much ARJ is making a year ... hopefully a lot!
Leon Balogun has been wearing 18 in pre-season but none of the squad numbers have been confirmed yet. Number 8 Skalak is almost certain to leave the club soon.
The local newspaper says £17m.
Im having a good time talking about our culture on their forum, Join me at north stand chat

Crystal Palace have a fierce rivalry with Brighton & Hove Albion which did not develop until Palace's relegation to the Third Division in 1974, reaching its height when the two teams were drawn together in the first round of the 1976–77 FA Cup. The game went to two replays, but the controversy was based on referee Ron Challis ordering a successful Brighton penalty be retaken because of Palace player encroachment. The retake was saved, Palace won the game 1–0 and a fierce rivalry was born.
Look at the fields Jahanbakhsh was playing on ... to where he is now.

Much more to it than that. Rivalry occurred a long time before when both clubs played each other Division 3 South. A hundred competitive games between the clubs, joined by a quick railway journey,
Fair to say the rivalry increased in the late 1970s and the incident in wiki was just one of many.
Greetings everyone from David in Brighton we are delighted (understatement) to have Ali on board!
Love to all !
I am very much enjoying this Brighton invasion. Your town / area is really lovely.
Iranians have seen players move to European clubs before, but there has never been this much excitement over a signing than what you guys are displaying. It's really thrilling for us to see. This may be the first time an Iranian player signs for a club and the club's fans are more excited than we are! lol.
I hope the Iranian social media presence won't sour people's excitement though, it can be brutal at times. Just a warning :^) Don't judge us as badly some of the unrestrained on Instagram please I beg
Well it is nicknamed by some as the M23 derby.. although most of us are not fans of labelling it like that (for a start it doesn't make sense as it the A23 and M23 between the two clubs..).
Until the relatively recent emergence of Crawley into the football league Palace were the closest professional team to us. Many assume we would be rivals with Portsmouth/Southampton/Bournemouth but Palace are closer to us and the game the fans care about the most.
The last time we won at their hole we had a commemorative shirt sold in celebration. :D
