In the long term, I think JB joining an EPL team would be good for his development. I am genuinely interested to see how his new muscles will perform in the next TM game.

Given Ajax were interested in him mid-way through last season, I can't help but imagine what it would have been like for him being in that team.
Seeing Ziyech smiling today as Ajax dumped Real Madrid out of the Champions League, remembering what JB was doing last season for a much smaller club, compared to Ziyech...
Maybe he would have been one of the star players of the round for the champions league (similar to Sardar at Zenit), who knows. As a confidence player, I'm sure he would have probably enjoyed being in a free-flowing overstacked Ajax team in the weaker Dutch league more than not receiving passes from a hardworking but less talented BHA team in a very hard league.
Anyway, back to reality. And as I say, at age 25 it is good for him to be challenged. Let's see what happens.
