Who said CQ was sabotaging himself? He's just doing a very shitty job of being the TM coach 5 days before the 2nd set of FIFA dates rolls by since he signed his contract. And what million reasons we don't know about? You just have to read the news - there was nothing non-factual in that post.

Sane? What does Ebola has to with Iran playing against Kenya, S.Africa or Zimbabwe in S.Africa? Just because there is an outbreak in certain parts of the continent doesn't mean all of Africa equals Ebola transmission. None of these nations have shown any presence of the virus and the chances of it reaching any of those places are (almost) just as slim as it is for it to reach Iran.

They have their reasons for not wanting to host the African Cup of Nations (affected nations like Guinea and Mali still have chances of qualifying and a continental tournament will attract fans from some of these nations) but that is not comparable with Iran going to S.Africa.

Ebola is none existent in South Africa , Kenya or Zimbabwe

No game with Zim regardless which one ( Ebola, Nabi, CQ) is responsible

Honestly, if it wasn't for the federation bypassing CQ and booking Korea, we wouldn't even have a game on the 16th. And CQ was even complaining about that game last week!

FIFA regulations aren't shit you find out about as a coach two weeks before game time. These games should have been requested by CQ and arranged in early 2014 or worst case scenario after the world cup when he took a two month vacation. Even now, when our preparations are in total shambles, he's in UAE watching beach football!

Didn't you guys read what our good friend from Sweden said, that he had to beg CQ to accept to play a friendly with Sweden. As soon as he gave the go-ahead, the federation made it happen. This guy's honestly killing TM and I know his first excuse if we fail (zaboonam laal) is going to be that he didn't get the full support of so and so in our preparation!

Why is this even a debate? CQ is being paid by IFF, he is an employee of the IFF...if CQ or IFF screws up it doesn't matter, in the end the federation, it's technical, coaching, and any other employee are to blame. This is poor planning, mismanagement at it's best. Another fail for CQ and his employer.

That may be so Sarbaz jan, but Kenya is a major transport hub in Africa and one should not ignore warnings from major organizations like WHO or the World Bank IMHO.

May be now we come to our senses and play teams like Kuwait and Jordan who may be more relevant to our AC campaign.
