just shows how bad it would be for Iran if you were to be the Headcoach. Azmoun didn't recieve 1 ball in the 2nd half. 1st half was the same. what can a striker do more if he doesn't get balls delivered to him. taremi didn't do shit either because the midfield sucked, they didnt have any plan, and focus whatsoever, and to call to bench sardar who's in the team of the week, week in week out just shows the lack of understanding on your part.

What's with the blaming of the striker whenever our team has no linkup play or reverts to aliasghari?

You know 99% of the worlds strikers are incapable of producing magic by running and dribbling 6-7 players right?

Bekesh ziresh is a sign of the weakness of the defense and midfield not of strikers.

We had zero corners last game. I don't even remember a single passage of passing play besides our goal in the Iraqi half. What is a striker to do?

a training camp of three weeks during the season for which players? Which legionairres clubs will release their players 3 weeks in advance? Is that a joke? PGPL teams would never even agree to that.

Azmoun was pretty fucking qualified playing on rostov vs biggest teams in europe with most defensive tactics ever.
This team has quality. It is not being utilized properly because the "coach" is more of a couch.

The quality of this team can very easily be its linkup play between attacking mids, wingers, and forwards and a solid D line off the back of years of CQ schooling. The issue is, we are currently in a stage where we need to ditch no longer serviceable players like Ramin, Karim, Shojaei, Amiri, and imo HAJSAFI all of whom (except hajsafi) CQ was trying to phase out since WC.

If we line up like this, we should have a good chance regardless of the lack of any sort of tactics wilmots brings to the table, because after all the teams we are playing at HOME now too will not require us to bring some complicated tactics to the fore + there isnt really time to swtich tactical setup or introduce new concepts.

I was watching Holland vs. N. Ireland today. What a great game by both sides, specially Holland who showed a floating style with great passing. I don't know what Iranian players do to educated themselves about the game, but may be if they cut down tweeting or being on Instagram, they could sit down, watch these quality games and learn a thing or two about the game. Holland played the same formation that Wiltmos has been trying to implement at TM. In order for this formation and style to work, you require high quality players who cam held on to the ball, run fast, create spaces, and win the one on ones. Something our players are just not made of. Wiltmos should have known this by now.
